Well, I have a lot to say about this company. They go by Brenna Construction as well. PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!!!!! I have pictures, Whatsapp texts, emails, and voice notes to prove that they are scammers. I hired "Mr. Blessings" the name he goes by to install my geyser. Long story short, I paid for their services and by law, they were required to give me a COC. After a back-and-forth with Blessings whose real name, by the way, is R. Kwenar simply refused to give me the COC demanding R850. Yet before he charged R650. I then laid a complaint with the Plumbing Board. Well, now the plot thickens. I find out the plumber whose PIRB number Brenna Plumbers used was unaware of it, allegedly claiming it was identity fraud. I forked out over R9895.26 and now my ABSA insurance will not pay out until I have the COC. The Report that Brenna Plumbers signed was as Blessings Miti. I still have the report as evidence. I also took pictures of Blessings while he installed my geyser. I believe that both Blessings and Mr. R.Kwenar are working together. When I spoke to Mr. Blessings Miti he was very non -chalant about someone else using his plumbing PIRB number. That to me says a lot. This is my honest report of events as I said before. I have all the evidence. PIRB has since initiated "disciplinary action against the plumber and we can only recommend that you raise the matter with the consumer commission. https://www.thencc.gov.za/" I'm a single mom and saved for a year to buy a new geyser. I lost R9895,26 This is really unethical and unjust. LADIES, PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH ON PLUMBERS/ELECTRICIANS before using their services.
Well, I bought an online base for my student accommodation . However, there was a problem with the delivery. Timothy sorted it out and to my surprise, I got an upgrade since the base I chose was out of stock. Thanks, Timothy, for your excellent customer care. You really went the extra mile.
Realnet has reached out to me through email. This is what they had to say “Good day Ms. I am extremely sorry to hear of your complaint regarding your dealings with a RealNet agent. As per our conversation with Gerhard Kotze, we will continue to strive to deliver the best possible service to all our clients. I have contacted the principal of RealNet Select, Ms. Astrid Smith-De Gruchy, to investigate the matter and I will revert in writing to you shortly. I sincerely trust that this matter will be resolved soonest. Kind regards” That was emailed to me on 4/12/2020 by Melinda Greeff Regional Manager | Coastal Region. However, I will keep you posted on the outcome of this situation.
Well, everything started quite promising. I made an offer to purchase a property in Beacon Valley, Mitchells Plain. I was informed by Realnet Agent, Chantal Norman that the bank would do its own valuation of the property. The said Property was listed for R650,000. The bank then found the property to be overvalued and only offered R530,000. After I have asked her to go and negotiate a better/fair price with the sellers, according to Chantal Norman, the sellers still want R650,000. Well, my argument is that clearly, ABSA bank is acting on my behalf to prevent me from overspending on the property since the bank found less value in the said Property. Well, the agent insisted that I could get the property if I forked out R120,000 out of my pocket (ridiculous!!!!). Well, I examined the whole situation and refused to fork out extra on the property just so that greedy Ms. Chantal Norman can make a sale. When I asked her how they came up with R650,000 she had the nerve to tell me the sellers came up with the price. How can sellers come up with their own price, do they know how the process of valuating a property works, do they have set skills on the property market? I don't believe so. Well, unless they`re on par with property valuations, but still, that`s a long shot. The only conclusion I can come up with is that Ms. Chantal Norman valuated the said property and told the sellers your property is worth R650,000. This price isn't realistic. Now she doesn`t want to admit that she has made a grievous mistake. This has caused so much stress on me, thus I am lodging a formal complaint with The Estate Agency Affairs Board of South -Africa ( EAAB ) against Ms. Norman since I have text messages as evidence. These agents are causing emotional stress and many times they make up offers to try and push the price up since she assessed the property and most of the time they are getting away with it. Since most of the time, we are not aware that they too are regulated by the EAAB. Estate Agents are obliged to treat both the buyer and seller fairly. This means they do not lie about offers to all parties involved. They should be transparent.
