Dear Ford Bakkie Community, I wish to bring to your attention a concerning experience I had with Paul Maher Ford which may serve as a cautionary tale for fellow Ford drivers. Recently, I took my Ford Ranger XLT to this dealership for its 60,000 km service. Prior to this visit, I had not experienced any leaks, as I routinely have my chassis treated to prevent dust and oil ingress. However, during my appointment, the service advisor, Mr. Dwayne "*****" Storey, informed me that I would receive a quote after an assessment. After waiting for an extended period and not receiving a call back from him, I reached out at 4:30 PM and was finally presented with a quotation amounting to R29,000, which included R3,000 for the service itself and extensive repairs for what they claimed were oil leaks between the engine and gearbox. It is important to note that this vehicle was a demo model that I purchased without any previous issues. Upon seeking a second opinion from an independent mechanic, it was revealed that the nuts were simply loosened, indicating that no repairs were necessary. The mechanic observed that the nuts appeared relatively new and had only minimal grease, contrary to the dealership's assertions. After addressing the issue myself at the cost of R5,000, I can confidently advise against utilizing the services of Paul Maher Ford. Their practices appear to undermine the reputation of Ford, and I believe sharing my experience may help prevent others from encountering similar issues. I informed Standard bank 17th that I canceling a debit order on 25th the debit order goes off they cant reverse the funds.I asked why do you even have on the app she told me she dont jave answers.I then told her I would have to move to another bank she then went as far as to say if thats what I prefer WOW!
These people tell you they will clear your name in fice years and they have debt my account since December 2024.I then went to my creditors amd they are all in arrears.R13000 a month debted.IThey pay R50 towards my accounts and take the rest for themselves.This is the biggest **** in SA.I was even paying 2 accounts that was already 4 years overdue.
Please don't even waist you time tried calling g them couple timesguy just cut my call tried land line just ringing.This place is false Advertising and is really USELESS 🫏🫏🫏🫏
I use to buy clothes on Yaga original clothing the I went and bought a tshirt and it was ****.I never again bought any items because people like me once you get one thing **** you don't buy there again.Why are you people not checking before you send it to customers.
