‼️‼️Anyone Needing to Test for Covid19 read this‼️ On Friday the 25th of June @9:45 I tested for covid19 reason being I’ve been sick for more than a week with symptoms and I was in direct contact with a known positive case. I tested at LancetLaboratories at Life Healthcare. I had noticed the lady taking my test had first out date tested as 24/06 and her supervisor had told her to correct it. Then I went off on my way being told I would get my results in 24 to 48 hours. Saturday comes I can barely move. I’m fatigued, I’m in pain. I’m not eating. I’m not drinking. But I’m wait for my results. I think between myself, Aaron Botha and Tracey Wise we have called them over 50 times. Sunday comes im only getting worse and Aaron finally gets ahold of someone at Lancet that confirms that my test is “unaccounted for” and I will need to re test. So off I go. To re test at Wilgehuewel despite me barely being capable to move. The head of the mobile testing station promises that she will take my test to Richmond to get the results Sunday night (this was last night) Of course again we hear nothing. This morning we start again we calling we need results. We are now told no no I must wait another 48 hours for test results. Now we can sit here and go into a million different shifts in lockdown levels but is this the healthcare that we deserve? It takes 3 days from infection to die of covid depending on your system. 3 days. And I will have my results from 2 tests, after 4 days. Let this sink in. The worst part of this pandemic is not the disease but the systematic failure of such companies like lancet.
I recently bought a Suzuki bandit 400, I took the motorbike to Bikerswharehouse to be fixed as I was experiencing carburetor issues. I first received a estimated quote from bikers warehouse on the 1st December 2020 of an amount of R2920.15 which I agreed to. The bike stayed over night, after which I received a email to tell me that they won’t be offering any workmanship or garentee on the work that was done, shortly after I received a invoice for R3037.30 which I had to pay so that my bike could be released to me. I drove the bike for 2 days to we’re my problems came back, Bikerswharehouse had informed me that I have a problematic bike (this I know, I wouldn’t have sent it to them if it wasn’t) and that parts were damaged, to which they didn’t offer replacement of, they only advised me to go buy a second hand carburetor as Suzuki did not have stock of. I was forced to pay for something that at the end of the day I did not benefit from, money thrown away due to no garentee, I had no say in the matter as it was not communicated with me prior to the invoice. Now is this not bad workmanship as I have to pay again for my replacement carburetor to be installed? I require compensation or 50% refund on the amount paid because I feel that this is not right and ripping someone off in the manner they did is unacceptable!
