I am extremely disappointed and disgusted with the service I have received from Flightsite. For the past few days, I have been trying to contact them regarding an issue with my flight booking, but I received no assistance or timely response. When I made my booking on their website, the flight was clearly indicated as travelling from O. R. Tambo International Airport to King Shaka International Airport. However, when my ticket was issued, it incorrectly showed the route as King Shaka International Airport to O. R. Tambo International Airport. I immediately sent an email and also called around 8:00 AM to report the error, but I received no response. It was only around 10:30 on Tuesday that I was informed that the flight would be cancelled and rebooked. However, rebooking a flight should not take two days. I waited patiently and sent another email but still received no response. On Wednesday morning, I called again, assuming my case had simply been overlooked. Once again, no one answered. When someone eventually picked up, I was told that my flight had indeed been cancelled and that one of their consultants would call me back by the end of the day. Unfortunately, that call never came. Later that evening, at around 7:30 PM, I received an email stating that they had tried to call me but that my phone went to voicemail, and that I would now need to rebook a new flight myself. I was also informed that I would receive a refund within 2–3 days. This is extremely frustrating because flights are now significantly more expensive as it is the day before my intended departure. The lack of communication, accountability, and assistance from Flightsite has been unacceptable. I will never book through them again and would strongly discourage anyone else from using their services. While I understand there are global issues affecting travel, such as the ongoing tensions in the Middle East, my booking was for a simple domestic flight between Durban and Johannesburg, which makes this level of service even more disappointing.
I went to shell Garage Chestnut road Mariannhill, on the 15th December 2020 poured petrol around 6 pm for an amount of R200 that's at least 16 litres and went back home. In the next morning which was the 16th December 2020 a public holiday, when I wanted to go run my errands the car wouldn't start. so I called my mechanic to come check what the problem may be with the car, I had to pay him R1000 just for him to run diagnosis. Everything was working perfectly fine but the car just wouldn't start. Until he decided to open the Petrol tank and see if there is anything wrong with the injectors. He then confirmed that whatever that was put on my tank was not petrol but looks like diesel with water or something of that sort. I then called Shell and they refused to come take the Car and said they want to take a sample of that petrol and investigate. Mind you I even have petrol slips, V+ card with the slip that practically is written the date, time and name of the gas station etc.I waited and waited but no one came. I then decided to go there myself with the diesel becuase no one came. I went there with a sample of the petrol they poured. Funny thing is it doesn't even smell like diesel nor petrol but it was more of parrafin. The manager Nassim said I must look for a mechanic and they'll pay him for draining my car and they will give me free petrol for R200. I then said to the manager since his offers are bleak and don't make any sense to me. I will call my insurance company to come tow the car from home to shell Garage and they can do whatever they want with the car as long as it's fixed however I then said they must take the car to Hyundai for further diagnosis becuase I don't know what other damage was then done. In the meantime, no body came to me, nobody apologized, no one called me, I've been calling with my airtime, taking ubers up and down to them. The fact that i won't be able to go to work because I don't have means of transportation doesn't bother even the Supervisor ****s who then said to me "us woman don't know anything about cars let the men deal with this issue". I won't have a car nor be able to move around becuase of their negligence. I am now deciding to involve my lawyers. Should I not hear anything from them in the early morning tomorrow the 17th Dec.
