Bidvest car rental has changed its name to Bluu and the service is disgusting. I arrived in Cape Town with my car rental voucher which clearly reflected my name and the fact I had paid a deposit. The manager insisted that my daughter in the USA had booked the car in her name. I explained this was impossible and they must have made an error because my name was on the voucher. The manager then said he needs to phone my daughter in America to check if she booked the car. As I knew she would be teaching a class at the time I strongly rejected his request. I could not see the logic behind his reasoning and could only imagine he thought I was a dishonest, lying rogue. I had to argue for over an hour before they reluctantly gave me a car. Needless to say this set back affected our whole holiday. I can only imagine it was due to some computer entry glitch but to date I have received no apology. I will never be able to book through this company again. I just don’t know how I could have a voucher with all the correct details on it and just have it totally rejected at the point of collection.
No response from Woolworths after they refused to honour my on line order of two fragrances.
I ordered to fragrances on line from Woolworths to take advantage of their 20% discount offer in December. They delivered one fragrance with no explanation of the missing fragrance. They do not reply to my phone calls or emails so had to go to the nearest branch which was Gateway UMhlanga. They were totally unhelpful and refused to honour my order. The on line service manager refused to speak to me at the store. I was appalled by the treatment I received when all I was asking for was my order that was placed in December and never delivered completely.
