Old Mutual & Insuremed Gap Cover
Old Mutual Please stop partnering with companies like Insuremed for Medical Aid Gap Cover, it is ruining the reputation of your company. The only reason I took out Gap cover is because my Old Mutual Advisor at the time recommended it and it was partnered with Old Mutual & IWyze and thus I trusted the company. It is only at the time I had to claim I was made aware that the company is Insuremed. They make it extremely difficult to claim from them, I am still struggling with the claims process. I have the gap cover since 2016 and never claimed until November 2020 due to my daughter being hospitilized and diagnosed with seizures (which they refused to pay the shortfalls) and again attempted to claim now May 2021 (due to me having an EMERGENCY surgery) and again they have refused to assist and pay. This has most definitely caused me to doubt the trust of Old Mutual as well as Insuremed and has most definitely been a waste of my time and money.
