Exorbitant fees by Pinnicle Garage Motors
I had the worst experience with a company in years. Called Pinnacle Garage doors to check out my motor as it was sluggish. They arrived within 30 min, and spend 24 min in total, while I was observing. Immediately just changed the two batteries [charged R1300] and without asking me proceed to remove and replace the door nylon rollers [R1890]. Checked if the door is working. On the invoice I was charged for service of the motor [R899] and service of the door [R429, both of these were NOT done. Total with VAT was R5195 for 24 min work! No quote given before they started. Not to make a scene I paid, but my complaint afterwards to the company received NO response. Be warned stay clear of these sharks.

Tach Pro Repairs, scam company.
On Saturday 18 Dec through Kandua I was put in touch with a refrigeration repair company "Tach Pro Appliance repairs", tel no 067 062 2206. My double door fridge was not cold enough and possibly needed replacement gas. Two technicians came to my house and after investigation stated the pipes needed a flush and new gas. After about one hour they stated it was done and I can only switch on the fridge after a two hour waiting period and requested to be paid R1500 which I did, no receipt offered. On later inspection the fridge was now not working at all and the technician contacted. On the Monday he returned and now stated the compressor is faulty and need to be replaced. A further R1500 was asked and paid and the he left stating everything is now working fine. On later inspection the fridge was still not working and a new compressor was not fitted at all. In fact no work was done. So I paid R3000 for nothing. "Tach Pro Appliance repairs", tel no 067 062 2206, is a scam company and the owner Nash or Wellington a con artist. They put on a show with props and all to appear that they are doing some work, but in fact it is all to fool to unsuspecting person and NO work is actually done.
