Great atmosphere. Great service. Great food.
I required a Swiss Visa and was obliged to apply via VFSGlobal. That entity's representatives in the case in KZN had simply ceased to function and an appointment was not to be had. I was therefore forced to apply via its Pretoria offices. Ideally book and paid for a timeslot, flew to Gauteng and attended on time. I found chaos in the waiting square and ended up being seen some 3 hours after my appointment. Once into the interior/consulting room the procedure was painless and efficient. However, this entity is not doing its customers, primarily European embassies proud. Especially the Swiss who are renowned for punctuality. Lastly: this entity does not answer phone calls, does not deliver the promised calls when complaints arrive and simply brush off complaints with a vanilla reply.
This entity is the sole representative of the Swiss Embassy in SA and has offices in Pretoria, Cape Town and Durban. It is virtually impossible to book a slot and when you call they have an automated response referring you to the website--on going to the website you are asked to phone! They do not handle emails--referring you to the above two non-functional options. As a representative of a highly organised country this sucks. How does one get to obtain a visa to Switzerland?
The gentleman running this show (Johan) took money for a bike fuel tank, did not deliver and receives but does not respond to emails. The website has also closed down
I had a pasta at Olive & Oil on 15 March 2021 and it had the best sauce I had ever tasted.
My son had booked via KLM over the CV19 partial lockdown and the Wapp comms with KLM were the best I have ever seen
