Do not buy BMW because it could be at your PEARL
I would not even give BMW one star. It has been a disaster dealing with BMW South Africa and their vehicles have flaws in the electronics. Bought a BMW 3 series and for a few months I had strange electronic issues happen with the vehicle. Then only a few months of having the vehicle, it showed a Fuel Supply message and i pulled over to the side of the road and it burst into flames. BMW SA have done everything to keep this case away from the public domain but this has happened worldwide. Do not buy BMW 3 Series or 5 Series.

BMW Owners Beware 3 Series and 5 Series
I urge people not to buy BMW and it comes with the experience of owning one for a year. The 3 Series and the 5 Series worldwide have a problem where the car shows up on the dash 'Fuel Supply', next the car looses power. So I pulled over with my daughter in the car. We sat in the car on the side of the road for 5 minutes parked and then my daughter said that the bonnet in front of her was blistering, then came smoke. I asked my daughter to get out the car and stand about 15 meters away, I then had the car burst into flames. Car was then consumed in flames and the pictures and videos taken will shock any BMW owner. BMW have been unprofessional and a circus. Safety should be of paramount priority to a car maker like this. Never have I been treated like this. It criminal what and how they operate.
