I am writing this complaint regarding Bothasig Gardens CommuniCare, which is now suddenly being called an Estate. Residents deserve answers, honesty, and accountability. Nothing ever seems to change at Bothasig Gardens CommuniCare, except the name. Instead of improving conditions, it feels like residents are being misled, while serious concerns about *******ion continue to grow. Many residents have been waiting 10 to 15 years and still have not received their title deeds. How can people live here for so many years and still have no ownership documents? Why has there been no proper explanation? Residents are also complaining that: Complaints are not being attended to. Rules and policies keep changing without proper communication. Some people are not receiving money owed back to them. Promises have been made repeatedly, but nothing is being delivered. How can a place that was presented as CommuniCare housing now suddenly be called an Estate, without clear answers for the people who have invested their lives and money here? We, the residents, need to stand together and demand transparency, accountability, and justice. We have been blinded by promises for long enough. Where is Mr Tokyo or those in leadership to come and see what is really happening here and address the residents’ concerns?
My name is Priscilla Ndabukelana, and I am writing to bring to your attention concerns regarding the treatment of residents and visitors at Bothasig Gardens CommuniCare in Cape Town. On 14 April 2026 and 15 April 2026, I experienced what I believe to be unprofessional and inconsistent conduct by security personnel at the entrance of the premises. Despite presenting valid identification, I was subjected to repeated questioning about my presence, which I found excessive and unnecessary. This caused delays and created an uncomfortable experience. In addition, when I requested the names of the guards on duty, they refused to provide them and were not wearing visible name badges. This raises concerns about accountability and transparency. More broadly, there appears to be inconsistency in how access control procedures are app****, which raises concerns about fairness and the general management of the property. These issues may be affecting other residents and visitors as well. I have video evidence of the interaction, which I am willing to share if required. I believe this matter may warrant further attention or investigation, particularly regarding standards of conduct, resident treatment, and management oversight at the property. Please let me know if you would be interested in looking into this matter further. I am available to provide additional details. 2.I would like to raise a serious concern about how residents and visitors are being treated at Bothasig Gardens CommuniCare, especially at the entrance by security. I believe many of us may have experienced similar issues, and it is important that we stand together as tenants. When we act as a group, our concerns are taken more seriously and we can push for real change. I suggest that we: Get more tenants involved in this discussion Share our experiences so we have a clear understanding of the issues Arrange a meeting among ourselves Appoint a few representatives to engage directly with CommuniCare and RPF (the managing agents) This will allow us to address these concerns properly and ensure fair and respectful treatment for everyone. Communicare is of the places that I thought do take people who are in need of a place to stay,but all to find out they take their own people,when I app**** to they told me that I don't qualify and my credit score is low..I'm not surprised about all of this cause there are people with a low credit score who are staying there and some are getting payed R1500 to person like me whose banking is up to date they are qood to tell you that you do not qualify for this place,when you phone no one answer the phone in they office,this my third time to apply and I cannot just give up like thats unfortunately there too many people are complaining as well its too much what's going there
I'm so confused about this communicare when you call the office there's no answer and when you apply for communicare flat you don't get responds at all or the email that they have received your application instead I am telling myself that there is something I'm going get until now.I wonder if they do check people application cause some of us are desperate to get a place a to stay,I need to know what I can I do cause it's irrating what their are doing..I need help please . service it's so bad..cause I'm applying for bothasig gardens
