Yesterday I went into the pep home store in Ottery to cancel my layby. The manager who overode my transaction was so rude and unprofessional, I couldn't believe it. When the cashier went to call her for override she went on with The cashier about the override. She was so 'upset' about me cancelling the layby that when she got to the till she didn't look at me or greet me. When I greeted her and told her she can at least greet she became rude and aggressive and admitted that she was angry at me cancelling the layby. She told me that she gets audited for her layby credits. I then told her that I'm a customer and that with all due respect had nothing to do with me and the only reason I was cancelling the layby was because when I made it the day before I didn't get the discount off the airfryer but only saw that detail after the layby was made. I even said to The cashier at the time that was the only reason I wanted to buy or layby it to which she responded the promo ends tomo you have till then to decide. All this happened with the manager present which is why I couldn't understand the attitude when I returned a day later. I'm sorry but the manager shanaaz seriously needs to learn some very needed customer service and maybe even some leadership skills. I frequent the store quite often and hope on my return that she would have improved on her skills and how she deals with customers.
I bought 3 pairs of shoes at pnp clothing blue route because I wasn't sure of my daughter's size. I chose one and wanted to return the other two but didn't have a slip. When I got there I saw a top and thought it would look nice on me so I exchanged. When I got home it didn't fit. So I went back to credit the too small top and was told that I cannot get a credit only exchange. I explained that I didn't have time and that I don't want money back just a credit to come back when I had more time. The store refused said it wasn't there policy. I understand that without a slip I cannot get my money back but fail to see how I can't get a credit note.
Walked into blue route mall this morning and the security at the entrance says there is no sanitizer at the entrance. OK? Then I walked further to see 3 guys busy with a sign without masks. I then inform the security guard just a few steps further that these individuals are not wearing masks and he looks at me like I'm speaking a foreign language. Another few steps further the same thing. It's concerning that this is being allowed. I understand that every individual is grown enough to know right from wrong but if companies do not enforce regulations things can spiral out of control again. We need to consider the safety and health of others as well. Blue route really needs to step up and make sure they do what is expected to make the mall safe for everyone
