I’m very disappointed with the service I got. If I could give them a 0 star , I would with a blink of an eye. Last week I bought a ticket from the greyhound website from Pretoria to Cape Town. Thursday morning, day of trip, I went to the Pretoria bus station, I got there at 9am for the 9:30am bus, and waited there until 10am , 10am a bus took us to the Johannesburg bus station , we waited there for 5 hours , waiting for the bus that was supposed to come at 9:30am. I was going to a graduation in Cape Town and I would have missed it because the bus was already late by 5 hours and 30 minutes. Around 2pm ,a bus finally came however we were told that the bus will only take passengers with no luggage! How do you go to Cape Town with no luggage?????? I went to the greyhound/eldo ticket station and asked them to cancel my ticket because I was already late and I was going to miss the graduation so it didn’t make sense for me to go to Cape Town anymore. The lady at the ticket station told me to call 0116118000 , because I didn’t have airtime , I asked my mom to call them , she called and asked them to cancel and after that she also sent an email to them asking them to cancel , until this day, I haven’t heard anything from them nor have I gotten my refund back. When we call them , they don’t answer! I’ve called them more than three times!! If you plan on taking a greyhound , please save yourself ! You’ll lose your money and you’ll get such horrible service! I regret buying a ticket with them , I missed my best friends graduation, that’s something I can’t get back . While waiting for the greyhound bus in the Johannesburg station, 4 Intercape buses came and left with their passengers. Intercape is a far better option. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON GREYHOUND!!!!!!!!! I won’t stop spreading the word on the horrible service I got from them.
The same thing just happened to me. I got an email from OPS Consulting stating that I have an interview in 2 days. It's a SCAM!
