I used We Park You Fly in April 2025—my third time using their service. The first two experiences were acceptable and went as expected. However, this time was entirely different. The company was two hours late returning my vehicle to the airport. Initially, they claimed a tyre had blown out. When the car was finally delivered, they changed their story, stating they had hit a pothole, but that the only damage was to the tyre, and they had replaced this with the spare wheel. I took them at their word. Unfortunately, I soon discovered the impact had caused far more serious damage. The rim was broken and had to be repaired before the tyre—damaged beyond repair—could be replaced. Worse still, the collision forced the shock absorber through its mounting and up against the bonnet. As a result, the shock absorber, its mounting, the link rod, and the lower control arm all required replacement. The total cost of the repairs was just under R10,000. More disturbing than the damage was the company’s response. We Park You Fly ignored multiple attempts to contact them until I threatened legal action. Only then did the owner call and email me, admit fault, and promise full reimbur*****t. That promise was never fulfilled. I have since handed the matter over to my attorney and will pursue both civil and ******** proceedings. I strongly advise against using this company. While some experiences and reviews may appear satisfactory, the volume and nature of negative reviews suggest this is more a matter of luck than design. The reckless handling of my vehicle, their attempt to downplay serious damage, and their willingness to let me drive away in a dangerously compromised car reflect a profound lack of professionalism and integrity. We Park You Fly has demonstrated that it cannot be trusted with the responsibility its service demands.
Discovery Vitality continue to change the way Vitality members are rewarded for reaching their exercise goals, seldom to the benefit of the member. The latest iteration of their rewards programme sees members receiving Discovery miles for achieving their goals. However, I have found it impossible to spend the discovery miles, continually being told I have zero miles when I have a healthy balance. I have made numerous attempts via the Discovery call center and through emails to try and resolve this issue, which has been ongoing since I first attempted to spend my Discovery miles at the beginning of January. Discovery simply do not respond to the emails. This is not only appalling service on the part of Discovery but makes me suspicious that the Discovery miles programme may be a swindle on the part of the company. It costs them nothing to provide you with Discovery miles, I am unable to spend the miles so they incur no cost there, and then fail to respond to your many requests to resolve the issue suggesting that they have an incentive to leave the miles unspent. I am not sure if anyone has experienced similar? I have now given up trying to communicate with Discovery as any customer communications see to disappear into some black hole. I am not sure if this is an ethical or effective way for Discovery to deal with legitimate customer concerns, although it would seem to be a highly effective if highly questionable way for them to avoid their commitments to customers.
