Mweb has hosted my email for 20 years or so. For several weeks it doesn't work - endless problems of sending and receiving mails. This week spent over 2.5 hours on first call hanging on to speak to help line. They worked with me for over 20 minutes changing settings etc and at the end said they couldn't check if it was working and I must call back in an hour. (that would mean another 2.5 hour wait) Today also 2 hour wait. I was number 23 in line and at number 2 they cut me off. Am furious as their alternative app helpline also doesn't work. What does one do? Definitely thinking of moving to another site.
I had an unfortunate bumper bashing when really sick with flu and Outsurance rescued the day. What could have been a terrible experience turned out to be smooth sailing and was all organized for me. I was so grateful to have such a wonderful insurance company. I highly recommend Outsurance. What made me feel even better was that I didn't have to pay a thing. Viva Outsurance viva!!
So, my cast-iron beautiful old verandah chair broke its back off. I wanted to find someone to fix it. I googled welding cast-iron furniture. I got onto the site of Ozone renovators. They came back promptly and said they had just the right person who could fix it. I explained that I believe it is a complicated business and needs specialist who knows welding unusual metals. They put me in touch with a young man called Justin. He came to repair it on site. Was unable to as he said he had the wrong rods. He took the chair and spent the day trying to weld it. At 6pm I called and he was on the way with chair. He said he had not been successful but because he had laid out money to buy rods and a days labour I must pay him R1300. He delivered the chair and said it was quite delicate. It was late in the evening and I am a woman and pensioner and was afraid to cause an incident and not pay him. So agreed to pay him R600 cash. He left. We picked up the chair and it snapped in half. I was very unhappy and called Ozone to complain. They promised to look into it and never came back to me. Steer clear of this company and their recommendations.
I would advise all people who are needing water leak detection or plumbing services NEVER to use Leak Detectives. 13th August I discovered from my water bill that I had a water leak. I googled someone straightaway to find the leak as it was not visible. I chose the Leak Detectives as they came up first and looked like a good company from the website etc. A guy called CJ promised to come and he got lost on his way - this should have told me something as I have a very prominent easy to find address. He arrived with two guys and started searching for the leak. After some time they found it. They dug a long passage to remove the pipe that was leaking. We posed the question to CJ of where was the leak, as we could not see where the water was supposed to be pouring out of. The sand around it was also not seeming very wet at all. We wanted to make sure he had the right spot. Any normal plumber would have said just hold on we will connect the water and show you. Instead this guy got into a raving temper to say we were accusing him of not doing his job. That he was a chancer etc. He bet me R5000 which was in his trailer apparently, that he had found the right place. We laughed and walked away. He furiously drove off and was never to be seen again. In fact his workers were here waiting outside my property at 7pm to be collected. The worst scenario was that I had told them that my insurance needed a damage report and invoice before they left. They insisted I pay EFT first and would then supply me with the info. They still have not. I paid them on completing the job and all the correspondence was by sms. I have phoned written and sms'd at least 10 times and had no response. I think this is truly unprofessional and has caused me much frustration and inconvenience. Their attitudde and rudeness was beyond belief. I still have all the sms correspondence. DO NOT TOUCH these guys.
