I regret taking a loan with Finchoice. My employment contract expired last year February and I still made plans to pay back the loan. Then on the 29th April I “settled” my account. I say “settled” because the remaining balance was like R120 and few cents. Then to my surprise few days later my Finchoice account says I owe R900+ because they refunded my account with R600+ ( which was debited the minute it hit my bank account) now I have to fix Finchoice’s fault and settle the account with the money I don’t have. I am unemployed with no income at all how am I supposed to pay that money after working so hard to settle it? Who asked for a refund? For what ?whoever processed this need to be accounted for their mistake. Shame Finchoice really did me dirty big time. And I will never ever go back to them should I need a loan. Never
I have submitted a claim with capitec in February 2021 for my 2month old who suddenly passed away and they are still debiting me for someone who's been gone for a year now. they keep on requesting one document after the other. From police report to the post mortem all I have submitted now they are requesting for histology and the officer handling my case has be transferred to a different region (just found out) . I sent an email to Centriq asking for help and clearity and they said they'll get back to me in 14days but no response from them even after asking for feedback. It's been a year and I just want to heal and let my child rest and figure out a way forward since capitec funeral doesn't want to pay but they are not helping at all. Today I have a newborn to look after but I'm unable to do that with so much stress. I am just sooooooo hurt and disappointed most especially they are still debiting funeral cover for someone who's been gone for a year and they taking me up and down
Lost my 2month old boy last month at a public hospital in Polokwane and I can't obtain the file. I mean it's not like they'll need to use the file because the patient is no more. Especially when I can't make sense of everything is it not fair that I get the file for reference?
Capitec bank has been my trust bank since 2014.i was happy with the bank but that's until last month. I lost my 2month old boy last month and I've been trying to claim for almost a month with no success. First they asked for documentation and you send it, after that it's another documentation after the other. Now it's forensic report which I'm unable to get. We are told that unnatural death is covered immediately but when it's time to claim they demand 1 document after the other instead of demanding all the documents at once. They are quite to deduct our account but take forever in helping us. Being dissatisfied is just understatement at this point. I'm just done with capitec at this point. A month later I'm still trying to get my claim resolved and they've deducted last month already and still going to deduct against this month... How's that even possible?
After giving birth in December 2020 I registered my son for funeral cover. Unfortunately he passed away in February 2021. I called capitec and I was told that natural death has 6months waiting period. And the autopsy report came back saying that my boy's death was unnatural. I send all the documents needed and now they say they want antenatal chart. I tried to get it at the hospital as they took my file but with no luck they cannot find it. I tried to explain to the funeral cover of my situation but nothing. And at the moment they are not taking my calls. When they sell their cover to us they make it seem like it's easy to claim but nooooooo it's not easy at all and on top of that you are not sure if you'll get pay out or left dry with debts. At the moment they are not taking my calls at all... I've been with capitec funeral cover since 2017 but at this moment I've had enough. It's one story after the other..
