THE ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE I HAVE RECEIVED. I WAITED 2 WEEKS FOR A TECHNICIAN TO COME OUT AND ATTEND TO MY INOPERATIVE TV AFTER LOGGING A COMPLAINT AT HIFI CORP. AS THE CUSTOMER, IT WAS MY DUTY TO RUN AFTER POWERCARE TO GET FEEDBACK AND A DATE AS TO WHEN THE TECHNICIAN WOULD COME OUT. HOW IS THAT FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE? ALL THE TECHNICIAN, WALTER, DID WAS INSTALL SOME BOGUS SOFTWARE UPDATE TO CREATE THE ILLUSION THAT HE WAS FIXING IT BUT WHEN HE LEFT MY HOME THE TV WAS IN THE EXACT SAME STATE AS THE COMPLAINT I LOGGED. WHEN I CONTACTED THE TECHNICIAN TO TELL HIM IT WAS NOT FIXED, HE TOLD ME THAT HE DOES NOT SUSPECT THE TV IS FAULTY BUT INSTEAD THINKS THAT THE PROBLEM IS THE WAY I AM USING IT!???!! AS IF THERE ARE SO MANY DIFFERENT WAYS TO USE A TV. WE HAVE NOW BEEN INFORMED THAT POWERCARE HAS CLOSED OUR JOB AND STATED THAT IT IS REPAIRED. FURTHERMORE THEY SAY WE SHOULD LOG A NEW CALL AS THE JOB IS CLOSED AND IT WILL NOT BE UNDER WARRANTY AS MY WARRANTY HAS SINCE EXPIRED (LETS KEEP IN MIND THAT I HAVE NOW WAITED 3 WEEKS FOR MY TV TO BE REPAIRED). IT IS EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING THAT HIFI CORP IS USING SUCH AN INCOMPETENT BUSINESS TO CARRY OUT REPAIRS. DO NOT USE THEM. YOU WILL HAVE MORE SUCCESS AS A CUSTOMER CARRYING OUT YOUR OWN REPAIRS ON YOUR ELECTRONICS.
