My self and a freind frequent Grandslam Edenvale on a fairly regular basis. We land up ordering the same, and on a few occassions, we have had to return the order. The same has happened on 3 occasions where i have ordered a take away only to get home and find the order was incorrect. I have spoken to Joa, the manager, i think thats how to spell it, re this take away problem. He has been pretty blase and blaming me as to not ordering correctly over the phone. I was on all three occasions in the pub when ordering. On the few times we have complained inside the pub, he has been so cool about the complaint. He deals with it but the ttitude is so aloof, it is as if he is doing us the, customer, the favour. While the food is usually good, it is the service that has gone right down. Yesterday we had to send something back, not big orders, but the attitude to rectifying what we want, is appauling. Food good, attitude sucks.

I am a regular to Steers, various branches incl this one. 2 weeks ago, i ordered a toasted cheese and large chips. When i got home, the sandwich had a feeble attempt at being toasted, cheese was not even melted. The chips were very soggy. Has to be thrown away. I tried to phone the branch, could not get through. I then emailed head office who 3 days latter, gave me a reference. Monday, i remailed on that refference, and got same mail back...under same reference. 10 days to reply to a poor toaste3d cheese and soggy chips. For me it is more the principal. Why have a contact center for this? Or are they overloaded with poor quality complaints?
