very poor service
so , ive thought a lot about this post , ive even been threatened by their lawyers to " cease and desist " .. what ever happened to freedom of speech , especially if Malema can sing "his ****** song" which i hate , however , ive decided to have my say .... Without Prejudice...... Roughly 3 months ago , my Volvo XC90 was brought to you "Swedish Auto " via , a third party wich remains anon , to replace the brake discs and pads , alround . Over the last long weekend , I took my family in the said vehicle, to the Kruger national park . On route , the left front brake caliper fell off , luckily we weren’t going at speed , otherwise who knows what would have happened. It turns out the the Top bolt holding the caliper together , fell out completely . We had to contact a mechanic to assist us . We were stranded road side for a good 5 hours while the mechanic procured the correct bolt . The findings were that , firstly your workshop had not used the correct volvo caliper bolt , ( it should be a “ alan key head” ) the bottom bolt is also incorrect , and was very loose . As a result of this , the said caliper and pads have more than likely been damaged . Further , there is now a loud squeeking noise emanating from the front left wheel . At this stage iam willing to let your workshop make good on your mistakes , fix my vehicle at no extra charge . Please advise your stance on this matter , Swedish Auto strydompark. Their response , via a lawyers letter that they " denies all liability whatsoever pertaining to yourself insofar as this matter is concerned. They also go on to say " "Our client confirmed such aspect in its job card which is attached hereto for your record purposes" .... NOTHING was attached , as there wasn't a job card in my name!, yet they were the last people to work on my car , and released an unsafe vehicle .... which actually is not only , in my opinion , dangerous , but negligent as well. As a future client , Swedish Auto will NEVER see me again .

6 weeks ago , we found a vehicle on your website that we were very interested in , The mint green Fiat 500 Lounge , full house going for R 169000 . We made contact with your dealership , Spoke to Julian Mayet . We expressed our interest , and he promised to send the vehicle to us to view , which he did, the following day . We viewed the vehicle , test drove it etc , at this point I need to tell you , we were INTERESTED in purchasing this vehicle for my daughter , her FIRST car ! She drove it and was in love with it immediately ( we had looked at many vehicles prior to this ) She wanted it . I immediately phoned Julian and informed him we were interested , and wanted to buy it , however there were some paint chips on the left passenger door and bumper , where he said “ no problem we can have that fixed “ We mentioned we had a Hyundai Matrix to possibly trade in, although , we also mentioned we could sell it privately , either way we wanted the Fiat . Asked him to fill out the offer / paperwork and send , as well as get the finance in place . We were assured this was happening . A couple of days later we hadn’t heard anything , so I phone Julian , he said the fiat was at the panel beaters and it would be returning the following day … Friday , and he would phone me . That didn’t happen . I tried phoning on the Monday , he wasn’t available , eventually I did manage to speak to him , he said he wasn’t happy with the colour matching and he sent the vehicle back . This went on for another week or so . I decided to drive to the dealership , which I did , and met Julian face to face . On enquiry , Julian said the vehicle was still at the panel beaters , and would be returning the very next day , he would phone me , and drive the vehicle to us , for us to take possession ( my daughter was so excited ) THIS DIDN’T HAPPEN … Julian just disappeared . we were told the whole dealership had shut down as everyone had tested positive for COVID , seemed plausible . We kept on phoning etc etc … no response . we also had zero response from finance as well … By this time , my daughter was still hopefull that things were on track , however I found it strange tat it has taken me 4 weeks to purchase a vehicle , that we really wanted . We phoned again and got through to the manager .. He told me , the vehicle was on its way , our finance was being dealt with etc .. he was dealing with it … this was Friday 9 july … he said he would phone back … iam still waiting . So yesterday ( 19 july 2021) I visited the dealership , enquired about the fiat , only to be told that it had been sold over a month ago !!!!!!!!!!!! WHY , why , firstly did everyone lie to me , why , secondly did they sell the fait to someone else when we confirmed we wanted to purchase the vehicle … why was I “ strung along “ for so long ???? My daughter is absolutely devastated to say the least , and me , well I am ANGRY . Why would Julian lie to my face like that … and your manager as well . Oh , yesterday he was on the phone and I was told he would phone me in 5 minutes … AGAIN iam still waiting , absolutely shamefull
