My car is fixed but... The R1500 diagnosis penalty means nothing because if you pay that amount, take the diagnosis to another dealer to fix, they'll get it wrong. My quote changed 3 times, from R45000 to almost R70000. Missed the delivery deadline by 3 weeks and gave back the car with oil leaks still. Don't fall for it when they call themselves the best, at one point they didn't know where my car was. Please keep a copy of the sheet with dents if you still find yourself falling into their trap because they can always update their copy. I regret doing business with them. My mental health, career, finance and family has taken a toll because of their incompetence.

so , ive thought a lot about this post , ive even been threatened by their lawyers to " cease and desist " .. what ever happened to freedom of speech , especially if Malema can sing "his ****** song" which i hate , however , ive decided to have my say .... Without Prejudice...... Roughly 3 months ago , my Volvo XC90 was brought to you "Swedish Auto " via , a third party wich remains anon , to replace the brake discs and pads , alround . Over the last long weekend , I took my family in the said vehicle, to the Kruger national park . On route , the left front brake caliper fell off , luckily we weren’t going at speed , otherwise who knows what would have happened. It turns out the the Top bolt holding the caliper together , fell out completely . We had to contact a mechanic to assist us . We were stranded road side for a good 5 hours while the mechanic procured the correct bolt . The findings were that , firstly your workshop had not used the correct volvo caliper bolt , ( it should be a “ alan key head” ) the bottom bolt is also incorrect , and was very loose . As a result of this , the said caliper and pads have more than likely been damaged . Further , there is now a loud squeeking noise emanating from the front left wheel . At this stage iam willing to let your workshop make good on your mistakes , fix my vehicle at no extra charge . Please advise your stance on this matter , Swedish Auto strydompark. Their response , via a lawyers letter that they " denies all liability whatsoever pertaining to yourself insofar as this matter is concerned. They also go on to say " "Our client confirmed such aspect in its job card which is attached hereto for your record purposes" .... NOTHING was attached , as there wasn't a job card in my name!, yet they were the last people to work on my car , and released an unsafe vehicle .... which actually is not only , in my opinion , dangerous , but negligent as well. As a future client , Swedish Auto will NEVER see me again .

Took my daughters c30 for service, when we collected the car, we noticed an oil leak on garage floor, when contacted Mike the workshop manages was told to take back so they can check, the report said that the seal on gear box needs replacing which we said to go ahead (sure this should have been picked up on the service?! When we collected the car there was a really bad vibration when I highway, contacted Mike again, he collected the car and reported that the side shafts need to be replaced. My point to Swedish auto was that if they did repairs on the gear box that the side shafts would have to be removed, to this they confirmed that the shafts would have been removed, my responce to this was if you took the shafts off why did the “technician” not check them?? His response was “I’m not sure!!” As the car was driven before repairs the car was not shaking caused by the side shafts, I think that when gear box was put back together and the side shafts put back, they did not tighten the bolts correctly causing the shafts to come loose, this is exactly bad service from Swedish auto To add fuel to fire was told the aircon was damaged and needed to be replaced I took it to air-con specialist and all that was needed was to be re-gassed which they did, and didn’t even charge me!! Nice one Swedish auto?!!! Peter tuohy

It's with sadness that I have to write this. I took my car to swidish Auto in Randburg Straydom Park to be fixed I collected the car it was fine but when I checked my car bettery it was changed. It is not my bettery. I mean I have serviced my car to these people. We take our cars to them out of trust believing that they are honorable up Right and noble in their dealings with clients. This is sad for me as a consumer now I need to go buy a new bettery. If this is how they do business all the best to them.

Last week Wednesday (06/02/2019) I booked my car (2014 Volvo T3 Excel 1.6 Man/White) in for maintenance at Swedish Auto for the following day, Thursday (07/02/2019), the service requested and which I paid fully (R18,589.75) for Cam Belt Replacement, Front Wheel Bearings and Front Brake Discs. Then on Friday (08/02/2019) I was called to collect my car, it was around 4pm. As soon as I drove off from Swedish Auto I could hear the same Front Wheel Bearing sound as though it has never been worked on, worst of all my Engine Light came on indicating that they fiddled with my engine, my car didn't have power to move, it was out of timing. I called them while driving home and told them I have worse problems as before with my car, then they told me to bring it back in on the following Monday (11/02/2019), till to this day Thursday (14/02/2019) I haven't gotten back my car, they ducking and diving telling me day after day that I will get my car back. I has been more than 4 days now without my car in my possession. And I paid them R18,589.75 fully, on the spot for everything. I feel robbed and defrauded by this DODGY useless Volvo service centre. The name of the manager I was dealing with there is Indrasen Naidoo (Green)

My Volvo ran out of it's maintenance plan and I phoned around for quotes for the next service. Swedish Auto was the cheapest and very efficient, they kept me up to date with the progress of my car and phoned me with a full quote before they did any work. The car was ready on time and I felt that it was in good hands. Thank you
