Capitec customer complaints useless

I refer to my complaint dated 7 Jan. Capitec "investigated" and rep**** that unless I stop my card they can do nothing. Fact of the matter is that they already did it twice before without stopping the card? So I can get my R229 back if I stop my card (R70) and pay for transport to get to a branch (R140) = R210. No going to banking ombudsman

Netflix Nightmare

Cancelled in October. Membership is dormant. Still debiting. Disputed in November and December. Now Capitec want to cancel my card at R70. This is not acceptable. Now they want to " finish cancellation". Account is not active. It has been finished. Fix it. " Cancel anytime". Not so easy.

Cancelled Netflix in October. November Capitec debits. Provided them proof with a screenshot showing it was cancelled. Lodged a dispute. Thought that was it. Ha ha. December happened again. Another half an hour on the phone. Another high blood pressure induced near stroke. Specifically requested this be flagged on the system. Lodged dispute. Now they do it again. They refuse to lodge a dispute unless I cancel my card (R70) plus transport costs to a branch. Spoke to ADIL and JARED. Another 40 minutes on the phone. Just fix it.

MTN - False advertising

Currently advertising Wifi for R295. Yesterday the amount was R260 pro rata. Today it is R260 for Jan and R295 for Feb. Not happening. Pay it now and debit order day rolls by and they debit again. Not happening. What happened between yesterday and today? Their site is a nightmare and if you phone 083135 they drop the call.

This is a ****. 1. Whatsapp number is Nigerian. 2. Want an upfront fee. 3. Office address is a Used Spares Company. When questioned they said the office is "NEAR" there. It is either there or it is not. 4. When questioned again they went the moral indignation route. " You want the loan. You dont trust me. Get out of my DM.

Beware NO FEES con loans

Stay away from loan offers on social media. You can say - NO FEES. They will string you along assuring you of no fees then come up with the sting in the tail. One lot told me if we said there were fees you wouldnt apply. Damn right I wouldnt. Then she wanted R80 initiation fee and once that was paid another R150 immediately refundable disbur*****t fee. Trust me she said. These people are not registered with the NCR so you have no comeback. Also why pay an immediately refundable fee. No point at all. The NCA says repayment capacity should be determined during due diligence on the loan application. Please follow the NAME AND SHAME LOAN ****MERS GROUP ON FACEBOOK. Dont fall for no fees - oh sorry yes fees ****s. I have encountered the following: Initiation fees followed by Disbur*****t fees Insurance fees Pin code fees Repayment capacity fees

Get a no fees loan. Then suddenly refer you to Telegram. They create a group. You wait 24 hours. Minimum amount R20k. Then they claim the NCA requires an upfront cash repayment capacity fee of 10%. This is false. They get 5 people in the group. Upfront payment of R2k each =R10k. They say they will refund immediately. So what is the point. They keep you hanging then dangle the loan. You are supposed to think - let me get R2k from my brother then I can pay him back immediately. This is a ****. You need to beg, borrow or ***** R2k to prove you can pay back. There is no contract or anything. You just do it on trust.

Looked for a loan for a medical emergency. Got it. Then have to pay R100. After asking several times about fees. Angela said she misled me because if she hadnt I wouldnt have app****. Then they wanted another R150. Checked reviews on Hello Peter. Asked for NCR registration. They sent a certificate. Bogus. NCR never heard of them. Couldnt give me website or landline. Insisted I was crazy and bad reviews by disgruntled customers. Started applying pressure to pay. Now they blocked me. I didnt pay thank God but they are ****ming innocent people. They start as Figure Finance. Stay away. Do your homework.
