My elderly mother on sassa pension was signed up somehow, she has alzeimemers and minimal income. She has a debit order that needs to be stopped now. How was this signed up even?
After purchasing a washing machine from Ed Oliver end Nov 2020, and being assured that he has been in repairs and servicing business for over 10years. I sent a courier to collect the machine having being again told that there is a 3month warranty and that it had just been serviced and worked perfectly. It does however not work! Water runs in continually as the valve is broken and the cycles has to be turned by hand and even then happens at random. I contacted Ed via whattsapp as he never answers his phone (this should to all be the first indication of a problem) he told me his 'driver' was not available but as soon as he is he will collect the machine and bring a similar working one. By end December we had heard nothing. By mid Jan 2021 he responded after I posted on another advert he was running online. He actually warned me off of posting untruths??? He said if I drop it off I could take another but he was not going to pay courier as that would mean he makes no profit?? He also mentioned that he was moving... We tried to contact him again for the new physical address to pay him a face to face visit and return his machine for our money he however never answers or messages remain unread. Do yourself a favor and just do not ever deal with him. (I can send you all correspondence.)
