I am currently employed on a fixed monthly salary under a signed employment contract. Recently, due to slow sales, management has implemented “R0 days” (unpaid short time) and asked staff to stay home without pay. My contract does not contain a short-time clause, and I have not agreed in writing to reduced hours or reduced pay. I also incur monthly transport costs to make myself available for work, so being told not to work and not being paid places financial strain on me.meaning that I’d be paying transport for a day I won’t be going to work by force and still won’t be paid for that day. While I understand that the business is experiencing lower sales, employees on fixed salaries should not carry the financial risk of the business without proper consultation and agreement. I believe this matter should be handled in line with labour law and fair employment practices. I am open to discussing workable solutions, but unpaid short time without agreement is concerning.
The delivery process is too complicated ,i waited 9 days after verification and than they told me they didnt have what i had asked for , but they have made up for it and gave me a better deal on something better .
