Poor service we have received on the 20th May 2021 around 20h00. 1. Poor reception - receptionist were with serious attitude without any smile nor satisfactory gesture. 2. Our booked table for the birthday was not prepared. 3. Poor waitering service - no introduction from the waiter, delayed to take our orders, didn't repeat our orders and didn't know the actual dishes only referring us to the menu. 4. Wrong drink brought to the table apart from what we have ordered. 5. Wrong food brought to the table apart from what we have ordered. These services basically should be improved, because the hotel has best environment ever.
Me and my friends booked a restaurant table at the King's Gate Hotel in Rustenburg for our friend's birthday celebration, on the 20th May from 19h00 to 21h00. On our arrival at the reception, the reception/welcome we received was very cold - very disgusting hospitality. They was seriousness within the receptionist. Our table was not prepared as we at least expected some vibe from the hotel since we booked prior our arrival. The waiter who assisted us was very inexperienced and unprofessional. He couldn't managed to explain to us the proper dishes to enjoy, he didn't repeat our orders, our food order were wrong when he brought them to the table. He delayed to serve us our drinks (he was not there to take our orders in time) and the special drink I have ordered was served in wrong manner. We however, appreciated the environment regardless of the poor the services. Therefore, we would like to bring this to your attention to bring experienced or train your waiters how to customers according to hotel standards. The waiters dressing/uniform was extremely unprofessional for the standards of the hotel.
