NOT EVEN A ONE STAR!!!! I am a very unhappy & frustrated client. I sent boxes from Edenvale to East London. 1st waybill - sent 20 boxes on 02 Nov 2023 I hired a truck to deliver the 20 boxes to The Courier Guy in Edenvale & sent them to East London, I paid over R4000 for the delivery. 2 days later I went again to Edenvale & sent 4 boxes to East London. 2nd waybill Early in last week the Courier Guy came to deliver the 4 boxes in East London - no problem. Now, I'm waiting for the 20 boxes. The Courier Guy was here the Wednesday to deliver but I was in town & as you know they cant wait. They spoke to the caretaker and confirmed that they will deliver the next day. Thursday came & no delivery, I phoned the East London branch. The lady told me that they only received 1 of the 20 boxes because there were not enough space on the truck & the other 19 boxes are in transit & will arrive Friday afternoon after 13:00 and they will deliver it after 15:00. So, Friday came & gone with no delivery. This morning I received a call from The Courier Guy in Frankfort (which is in the Free State) he received my 20 boxes!! The cellphone number on the waybill was incorrect - OK, maybe I should have checked. The East London branch phoned the cellphone number on the waybill, the lady stated that she resides in Frankfort but did not order anything. The East London branch OPENED ONE OF MY BOXES, explained to her wat the content was & she still said (for the 2nd time) it's NOT FOR HER... What did the East London branch do - they sent the 20 boxes to Frankfort... They were too lazy or *********** to check on their system, then they would have seen that a deliver was made earlier the week to my name & address which is on the waybill with the correct cellphone number. The could have phoned me and delivered - NO PROBLEM!! Who gave them the right to OPEN MY BOXES & Change the address for delivery - for sure it was not me! I can bet you when you want to know who that person is they don't know!! This morning I received a call from The Courier Guy in Frankfort - Juandre & he said that he have received my 20 boxes!!! Now, imagine my surprise..... I got the best service from him, he phoned the lady (cellphone number on the waybill) who the East London branch phoned & find out what happened & explained everything to me. So after this phone call I phoned the East London branch, I spoke to a lady but its not the same one I spoke to the Thursday. She was very helpful although I was livid & rude but I did also explain & said that I'm not angry at her but at the branch. She was very friendly & really tried to help. I received a call again from the Frankfort branch, the manager said that he will make sure that my boxes will be sent back to East London today & even suggested that he will repack the damaged boxes for me free of charge. It's just amazing to see the difference in customer service from the same company but 2 different branches. I am really not impressed & would never suggest to anybody to make use of the East London branch. It was the most frustrating & poor service that I ever received from a branch.
Please Don't use this Guy, he is one of those backyard mechanics. He put in a new engine for me, broke a part, couldn't get it from the agent, they had to order this part and that was Dec. Lot of excuses later he received the part and then when he test drive the car and then something else broke, he had to take it to a engineering place, this was in February, still waiting for a reply. He doesn't contact you, you have to contact him. He move to business premises sharing it with a tow truck company in Boksburg. His name is DAWID HORN.
Thank you very much for your friendly and effecient service Jaen Boshoff. It was a pleasure to speak to someone at a callcentre thats friendly and helpfull. I was surprized with the amount of the premium, I thought ist going to be much much more....
