After my complaint on Hello Peter I received some support. Over a week after requesting support multiple times. This is also not the first time I had to wait more than 48 business hours for assistance. They eventually recalibrated my systems and told me they would be back to replace the faulty batteries on the one system (over a week ago). We have 2 x Solar systems on my property at R1740 EACH + the normal electricity spend (compared to pre solar). I not saving and I am stuck with 2 systems with no support. This is the absolute worst decision I have ever made.
From 1st day I really should have known. My stove did not work for a week (electrical issue) they came out after a week and fixed that. Next week the geyser did not work (electrical issue) it took a week for them to come out for that. My parents system on the same property did not work, you guessed right another week. 2 months in one inverter needed to be replaced. OMG. I had an offer on my property requested a bu8y out amount that took 8 business days 5 mails, 5 phone calls and eventually begging. Gosolar it's **** they sell lies. I want out of the system, to top it off I am not saving money on electricity and have 2 x medium systems on my property. This was honestly the worst thing I ever did
Terrible company. I bought a whole package for my son for Christmas 2022 for driving lessons. He was not going to get his license so in March 2023 I asked for a refund. I have been asking ever since and still cannot get my R3 500.00 back. I even asked if she could pay it off and pay me back. She just blocked me on WhatsApp, still ended up sending me a promotional special with her banking details for 2023 December. When I once again requested my funds back I was blocked again. Will be pursuing legal action. I am glad I saved all of the WhatsApp communications.
I am very disappointed in discovery health. One the scheduling of my sons operations (leg break and traction for 9 months) I purchased a decent set of crutches. Smart crutches so that my 11 year old would not have blisters on his hands again like the last leg break. I bought these directly from the supplier and paid cash for them, the amount paid falls well within the limit. They were also a lot cheaper than at any pharmacy. On submission of the claim to the medical aid we were told that because the invoice was not made out to the doctor they will not pay it. Really, do all patients only purchase crutches from the actual orthopaedic surgeon. I have the hospital authorisation for the operation where it was clear they were going to break his leg and put him in traction. I do not regret getting decent crutches for my son but am really disappointed that my MEDICAL AID has shrugged responsibility for the account.
