I’ve experienced how they treat the home owners, not a place to invest in.
We were invited to buy shares at this holiday resort. We were told that it will be a once off R58000 for a 2 bedroom apartment for weekly time shares. They told us that they are selling fast and if we are interested she should buy while they still have some units left. What they failed to inform us about during our purchase process is the R8000+ yearly levies that we have to pay before using our shares to book a stay. The salesman that was selling to us told to us that he has sold his unit for over R1.5 mil. He told us that he had 4 units and yearly they each bring him over R10000 for selling his weekly stays. When they sell it to you it seems like a good investment but IT IS NOT! More over when you try and reach out to company for help with your shares they do not come back to you, they just take your money and leave you hanging! After we enquired about the bookings, levies and selling no one came back to us, for over a year we have been trying to get answers as to why the levies are not mentioned in the sales process, they don’t even mention them within their signing on documents! You only hear about the R8000+ levy once you’ve bought the shares and try to make bookings. We (my sister, father and I) went to the AGM and tried to get answers but even then no one could tell us anything or help us. All they do is direct you to someone who will direct you to another without any solutions! We reached out to a reseller agency to try and sell our shares since we haven’t been getting any kind of help from the company, they told us that the shares are valued at just R2000, how is that!? How something that we paid R58000 for can now only be valued at R2000? It is not worth the buy, spare your money! I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING THESE SHARES AS THEY ARE SELLING US LIES!
