This rating is not given lightly and I have no complaints about cell c's in store user experience, but the kind of service I have received from the customer service call centre and their remote operations has been nothing but appalling but I digress. Let me explain... I took out a contract from cell c around +/-3mnths, ago after PROMPTLY receiving the devices (x2) I noticed a problem with the phones touch screen It was slow to respond sometimes I took the phone to my local cell c store and the sales assistant also found the same issue with the device so she and her colleague advised me to contact the follow up department of cell c again and have both devices sent back. that very same day I called them and logged the fault and asked for them to send a courier the lady I spoke to said her name was Nono I believe she said the process will take 48 to go to couriers and once it is there it should only take 3-7 work days for them to fetch it. I called again after 2 days to confirm that the couriers received the case the lady was the same one I spoke to the previous week. She said that the case was handed over to the couriers so she went and logged the case as resolved so I waited like she said, after a period of 14 work days I called them again and this NEW lady informed me that the complaint was NEVER LOGGED the first time so she logged it and the device was picked up around 5 days later.. Now, I was also advised to collect the RW nr(waybill#) from the couriers and then call them back with that and the case nr and they will then cancel the contract.. I decided I don't want to receive a device via delivery again thus I will reapply for the contract in store where the devices can be checked for faults before its handed over to the customers... The couriers finally arrived on the 8th of September and I called the very next day to have the contract cancelled. I was told that the cancellation process only takes about 24 to 48 hours to go through and then I should be able to reapply for the contract again I am again in a waiting game with them since till this moment they have not cancelled anything I spoke to someone in management last week Friday and he said that it was being processed as we speak and that it should be done by 3pm that afternoon otherwise latest Monday morning!!!!!!!!!!!! This has now led me to regrettably have to do this review in the hopes that cell c can work on the multiple problems they seem to have with their remote services I hope and pray that my issue will also be dealt with swiftly after sending them a similar email today...
Do Not give these people your money! My husband was approached and offered a phenominal solution to our debt issues a much lower monthly installment that cuts our debt by more than half when he told me about his plans i was worried and wanted to know how this would affect my business that i just started but i advised him to do some more research and look at other debt review company’s aswell... The next day i got to talk to a mrs Sharon Dlamini she told me that my husband should not fill in anything regarding his spouse on those forms then i wont be affected. After that phonecall i also spoke to another company that told me that its impossible for me to be unaffected by the debtreview because we are married i.c.o.p. If it was prenuptial I could avoid it but if anyone tells me otherwise they are planning on taking our money and not paying our debt
