Worse experience ever on evening of the 25th June 2021 . We were advised to not go to Gatesville med by neighbors and friends but went against their advise . Admin dont know what they doing and communicate poorly with medial aid . No proper hand over with admin staff shift changes at 7pm and no sense of customer service. Affinity confirmed they do cover the Hospital , hospital says they dont. No picking up phone and verifying data . Cold i dont care. My wife had to make countless calls and guide staff on something they should be trained to do. Whats worse is escalations goes to multiple people but nobody respond or takes ownership. I end up going home with a highly infected Absess on my leg and in extreme pain. Went to Vincent Palloti that same evening and received brilliant service at their trauma unit , while medial claims and authorisations were sorted at the back end. Affinity covering the bill and Im recovering well. I will follow the advise of those who warned me in future and advise many others not to utilize Gatesville med Trauma unit. They clearly money first people last.
