I need some explanations vodacom.
Not one to take to social media about things, but when you’re getting robbed blindly from one of the biggest cell networks social media is the only option. Vodacom, has been telling me for the last 4 - 5 months that I was constantly in arrears with my cellphone bill which is strange because my debit order that has been going off with them for the past 5 years consecutively said other wise. Neither the less I still got ”soft locked” every month as my account was in arrears and I need to pay over and above my bill another R1000 or R2000 monthly, obviously blindly I pay it as I need my phone for work purposes and incase I’m stuck in an emergency, vodacom cuts your phone off immediately without fail, while being soft locked you cannot make any phone calls, messages or use WhatsApp. This Includes emergency numbers. Please note once I had paid these random amounts to just get my phone back up and running it takes between 5 and 8 hours for my phone to be unlocked regardless of how quickly I make the payment. I eventually started questioning things as these amount just got bigger or weirder monthly and I keep getting soft locked. So I started doing some digging phoning people constantly and constant visits to branches closest to me. Finally I had one descent human pull me aside in one of the vodacom branches and told me not to turn around as the cameras are watching us but she has seen this happen to many times before and I deserve the truth. Turns out my bill is the normal amount monthly. However vodacom just wanted odd amounts from me monthly to pocket for themselves, not like they are a massive business with plenty clients, they just feel the need to take from people. Anyways, my point is. DO NOT, and I cannot stress this enough, do not ever use vodacom unless you like constantly getting soft locked and left without a phone and your money getting taken. Thank you.

Do not use this company.
This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I have been waiting almost 2 months for a refund from their technician because the company self cannot give me a refund because their boss is over seas currently. The service is disgusting, the staff members are rude and lie to you constantly. Do not use this company. You will not get your problem fixed nor will you ever get your money back.
