I have a Whirlpool 16l washing machine. Clothes come out wet. Called whirlpool to send out a technician, they said Applique Appliance from Vanderbijlpark, comes out to my area. They checked my machine and said it was the belt, they did not take my model number or belt number. They came out 9 June 2021 which was a Thursday. Technician said it was the belt and said they would call me back with a quote, I paid R600 for call out fee. Tuesday morning receive a message from whirlpool that my job was completed, on website I said it was not. Applique Appliance, then called that afternoon to ask if I want the part, mind you next day being a public holiday, they would have to order and it would take a week, me already being upset said I would look for a belt, and if I did not find one I would call them back, exactly what was said in the phone call, spoke to them nicely, in case I did not find a belt. The following week I phoned back, I had gone to a spare place and put an order for my belt. Got there no order put in, that was the following Monday. Called Applique Appliance to go ahead and order my belt. Called a week later told that they would get back to me. Waited another week. Called again same thing. Sent an email to whirlpool which is under KIC, told them the problem, asked me what was my model number and part number. Told me someone would get back to me. Waited a day called them. The lady on the other end said she had no recollection of our phone calls, which I replied I have it all on my phone. Told me she would order the part. That was 29th June 2021. I phoned yesterday was told the lady who deals with these calls works from home and I must give my name they will call me back. In the afternoon I get an sms from whirlpool (KIC) that my Job card is complete. It is now the 8th of June 2021. No Job done. Yet they have sent a message to whirlpool that the Job is done. It seems they get the call out fee and don't care about the rest. This is a month of waiting R600 paid no work done.
