Cons Properties
Jacques van Zyl is a representative of Cons Properties and he has a hit and run mentality. My daughter is a tenant in Bloemfontein and he had no intention of helping her. There was a concern for her safety and the property. A water tank was placed on top of the roof in the garage. When the tank is full this presents a hazard to the tenants. A communication was sent out to the tenants to defuse the risk by opening some water taps and emptying the water tank. My daughter is in a wheelchair and can not reach the taps situated in the garage. I made contact with Jacques asking for his assistance last week. At the time he promised me that he will assist her. In spite of my utmost attempts to reach Jacques, he did not take my calls and refrained to phone back. We had to arrange a plumber ourselves although the situation was created by the firms' incapability to meet their obligations. I will not recommend using Cons Properties!!

Not for disabled persons
Our family booked into the hotel as under current lockdown regulations it falls inside Gauteng province. We have a 18 year old daughter that is a T12 paraplegic. From the start we had little assistance from staff. Her room has a flight of stairs and only once did staff assist us carrying her up. The remainder of the weekend my wife and I had to carry our daughter up and down her stairs. We were fine with it as we have done this before. Saturday morning though we discovered that two rooms from our daughter's there is a room for disabled people. It was occupied by able body people! How many times have we seen this. Able bodied people occupying disable body amenities. Management was never seen over the weekend. Frankly is debatable if they would have done anything for us to assist. The 4 stars and hefty price the hotel charge is not what I have come to expect from other experiences. Disapointing weekend.
