Douglasdale Specsavers incorrectly diagnosed my eyes and gave me glasses that did absolutely nothing - I had to wait for a year to pass (finances for glasses) to get new glasses. Not impressed.
<div>Very helpful, Corinna oversaw the entire debt process from beginning to end and was very professional. Thank you!</div>
I took my 2013 MacBook Pro into MacWorx due to it not charging, as a last ditch attempt before resigning myself to the possibility that I might as well just buy a new Macbook considering that mine may very well not be able to be fixed, or at least the finance to pay for it was going to be exhorbitant (quotes ranging into the R9000 range) I was met with Marlene, who was very kind and friendly and explained what she believed could be wrong, and that they would see what they could do. Still expecting that this was going to be a costly exercise, I also asked if they could sort out my wobbly screen hinge.Marlene explained this might be a bit more difficult, but they will see what they can do. I was so very pleasantly surprised when a week later I was called to come fetch the Macbook and that everything had been fixed. This seemed nearly too good to be true, so I went and checked it out: 1. They had replaced the charging port 2. They had analysed the battery and advised that my battery was not doing so great and would likely need a new one fairly soon. 3. They had fixed my wobbly screen 4. They replaced the rubber feet underneath 5. They had replaced some *****s in the shell casing which had gone missing at some point. The entire exercise cost me just under R4500. My Macbook Pro is working even better than what it did before - it's fast, the screen is great, it charges perfectly.. no catch. I HIGHLY recommend MacWorx, Marlene and her team.. You will not be disappointed.
I am one of the residents who lives directly opposite the school and am complaining severely about the alarm systems you have in place. For years, YEARS, the school alarm has been activated for no specific reason, and it continues for at least 30 mins before it gets shut off. (example tonight it has only rained but your alarm has been going off for about 90 mins now. As I type this, at 20h41, the alarm has just started AGAIN. Tonight I notice that a second alarm has now been added to the mix, I presume coming from the computer room on the right. This just adds to the frustration. This is not the first contact I have had with you regarding this but this time I resorted not to post my complaint on the Facebook page - for now. I will however be adding a post to Hello Peter, purely because of how long this problem has been going on. This is disturbing to the neighborhood and an annoyance of note because generally time spent at home is supposed to be without external noise or interference. 20h41 20h48 20h54 (times of alarm activation as I have been typing this email) Please, GET IT FIXED. I look forward to your prompt reply.
Succint, to the point, straight and simple. Niel is an excellent speaker and gets the message across clearly. A definite win.
