I am deeply disappointed with the service I received from The Culinarium, also trading as Bawa Furnishers. I recently purchased an Alliance Twinchef 11L Dual Deluxe Air Fryer from their online store. Regrettably, the air fryer emits a strong chemical smell during use, significantly affecting the taste of meals. This persistent issue indicates a clear product defect. Despite my attempts to resolve this defect, the store has refused to acknowledge the problem or assist me in line with my consumer rights. Their customer service response was dismissive and unhelpful, suggesting that the only solution was to use the defective product more often. This is unacceptable, as the persistent defect significantly hampers the product's functionality. As a consumer, I have reached out seeking guidance on returning the defective item for a refund, in accordance with consumer rights and the store's policies. However, they adamantly declined to assist further or acknowledge the materially defective product. This lack of support and refusal to honor my consumer rights is deeply disappointing. I am profoundly dissatisfied with their customer service and handling of this situation. I strongly advise reconsidering purchases from The Culinarium, also trading as Bawa Furnishers, as their response to issues with their products reflects a lack of concern for customer satisfaction, fair resolution, and adherence to consumer rights.
Do not buy from this store. On the 23rd of July 2021, I purchased a floor lamp, the following day I sent them a mail to cancel the order and refund the funds to my account. The lady who answers the phone, answers it under another business name. The emails went unanswered too.
