I have experienced the same issues as other people who complained about this business. You are supposed to get a free “starter pack “ but then this huge bill arrives. They are dishonest and do not disclose all information to the client. When asked for a recording of the conversation that took place, they said they did not have one. The prices of the products were never given as it was supposed to be for free. How can a person now be billed for over R22 000. Something needs to be done as no-one would order anything from them in any case if prices were disclosed. They are “*****” and refuse to take back your “so called “ order.
Very dissatisfied with the frustrating service we have received from 1-Grid since 2019. There has been constant problems regarding the receipt of invoices from them. E-mails were constantly sent to them asking them to send us how much we owed. Never replied, then all of a sudden we would receive invoices for the incorrect website builders. After becoming really despondent, we sent them an e-mail in November 2020 asking them to cancel our domain. I received a phone call from a gentleman in December who asked why we were cancelling to which I replied that we do not get invoices and any response from 1-Grid when querying payments and we would only pay on receipt of an invoice. Up until the end of August when we miraculously received our very first invoice since, God alone knows, we immediately paid it but kept receiving e-mails saying that we had not. I contacted them to inform them of payment and then heard to my disgust that we owed them R1 953.00 (even though we had cancelled our domain in November 2020). We then told them to cancel the domain once again, whilst on the telephone call and via e-mail, and received an e-mail on Friday the 3rd of September from 1-Grid acknowledging this. In this e-mail they mentioned that we needed to phone them again to finalise the cancellation (what utter rubbish). We nevertheless phoned them again on the 6th of September and told them we had paid up our outstanding R1 953 and asked them to make sure they cancelled our domain. Then today we received an e-mail from them thanking us for our domain renewal!!!!!!!!! What a joke!!!!!! We phoned them once again after receipt of this mail and told them how disgusted we were in their overall service. Now the big question I ask myself is whether they are going to cancel and adhere to my request or am I going to receive an invoice in about a years time saying that I owe them thousands. I certainly hope not. Never do business with this company again.
