I enquired about a vehicle with Jeremy at JSN’s pre-owned division in Bryanston. He was helpful, initially, taking me to look at the vehicle at their workshop where it was having parts replaced. He said that he would keep me in the loop as to when the vehicle would be ready for sale. I subsequently cancelled another two pending finance applications because this vehicle appeared better and was the right year, colour and a reasonable price. I followed-up periodically over the following weeks and he said he would let me know each time. Fast forward to today, and I see a Facebook friend has bought the car. Jeremy offered me the most half-baked apology imaginable and claimed that he was going to tell me next week that the car was sold. Just absolutely terrible service. I will never buy or recommend JSN as a result.
I moved into a new house a week ago and had Afrihost with Vumatel scheduled to do a fibre line installation and router delivery. All went well with prompt responses and a quick line installation. The problem is that the line that was installed had a fault that needed to be rectified. I sit now, a week later having spoken to countless Afrihost employees and am still without internet. While the response is immediate, nothing has been done to have the line fixed, despite me expressing the urgency of the matter. I finally had enough and cancelled my contract this morning. In a great twist of irony, within a couple of hours of cancelling, they managed to get someone to collect my router! If the same sense of urgency had been used in getting the line fixed, perhaps I would still have them as my ISP.
