Disappointing customer service

We purchased expensive white Blanco kitchen taps from CP&B Somerset West four years ago. I realise they are no longer under warranty but the white coating has started to peel off and the taps are rusting. We went back to the shop recently with photos of the taps and were told that they knew about this problem as it appears it was a bad batch that had been manufactured. They would not replace the taps and instead showed us new taps that we could purchase. I have written to the company to register my disappointment and they haven't had the courtesy to reply to my two emails. I won't be purchasing anything else from this supplier. If they are aware of the problem then, in good customer service spirit, I think they should have replaced the taps or offered a discount on the alternative products. Very disappointing.
