Bad service
Really disappointed with the Somerset West branch. The service of some of the staff and management is pathetic. They don’t want to take responsibility for faulty products that they sell that is still under warranty. They also do not return calls when they tell you that they will phone you back, this happened on numerous occasions. Staff is unfriendly and just not very help full. I decided after a while buying my plumbing material there that I had it with the bad service and will never support them again. The people at this branch do not know the meaning of customer service. I am hoping one of the owners read this message and my advice will be to give your staff the proper training in customer service.

JUNK TOILET SET - CAPE PLUMBING
DESERVE NO STAR- BUILDER TROUBLE SHOOTER GAVE ME THE CONTACT DETAILS OF THEIR SUPPLIER MATTHEW ON BEING CONTACTED ABOUT THE TOILET SET I PURCHASED FROM BUILDERS WHAREHOUSE WAS VERY RUDE AND REFUSES TO ACCEPT RESPONSIBLITY FOR THE CHEAP FOONKOONG JUNK TOILETS THEY SUPPLIED. BUILDERS LADY WAS VERY ACCOMODATING BUT COULD NOT RESOLVE THE PROBLEM AS IT MUST BE RESOLVED BY THEIR SUPPLIER. THE CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT IS CLEAR AND PROSECUTION IS A GIVEN BY THE STATE. NEVER TOUCH MC NIEL AS YOU WILL BE IN THE POO AS WE ARE CURRENTLY AND MAYBE USING A 4 POUND HAMMER AND REMOVING THE RUBBISH IS THE ONLY WAY OUT. THE RUDE MAN MUST FACE HIS RESPOSIBILITIES OR SOON GO OUT OF BUSINESS

Disappointing customer service
We purchased expensive white Blanco kitchen taps from CP&B Somerset West four years ago. I realise they are no longer under warranty but the white coating has started to peel off and the taps are rusting. We went back to the shop recently with photos of the taps and were told that they knew about this problem as it appears it was a bad batch that had been manufactured. They would not replace the taps and instead showed us new taps that we could purchase. I have written to the company to register my disappointment and they haven't had the courtesy to reply to my two emails. I won't be purchasing anything else from this supplier. If they are aware of the problem then, in good customer service spirit, I think they should have replaced the taps or offered a discount on the alternative products. Very disappointing.

Excellent service from CP & B
I totally recommend this company for their excellent aftersales service and helpful staff. An expensive sink that developed a hairline crack was replaced with a smile. Thank you Candy and staff.

Pleasure to deal with the staff on the floor - VERY DIPLOMATIC - Kenilworth
<p>I had the pleasure to order a GREASETRAP from this branch who were very helpfull , supplying technical info and arranging the order direct from the factory.<br />I have dealt with this branch before and that is why I went back. Throughout the problems that followed , they were proffessional and courteous - so when I escalated the problem to higher management - they were not involved...<br />The product took dubble the time to arrive than promised, was nowhere near what I ordered and , apon being assured that this is the way all greasetraps are fitted , I installed it , it was a major problem - not functioning and upsetting the client GREATLY.<br />Between the senior management and the manufacturer , I was given a run-a-round and plenty of verifiable nonsense about how/why the disfunction occurred. <br />It took 2 months to sort the problem out - with me returning the product (for a full refund and costs - thank you) before the client was happy.<br />The counter staff were excellent in containing my extreme anger throughout all this - for which I thank them.<br />I will consider returning to CPandB in future - perhaps just to get a second quote ...</p>
