Mastermac/Macmaster - Queensburgh

Prior to the post following I had received good service from this company and they had helped until I had a major car problem. 6th November 2020 I paid R9190.00 to this company for clutch kit, gearbox oil, slave cylinder, clutch master, brakefluid, labour. Plus a major service of R4970.00 on 10th November. Then on 30th March 2021 they had to collect my car again for a terrible shudder, only when using the clutch. On 1st April I got a message to say it wasn't the clutch and they replaced a pipe and slave cylinder. "the shudder was the lower gearbox mounting. vehicle been test driven and going perfect" - their message to me. Well it wasn't even a day of local driving and the shudder was back. I will not take my car back there after reading the reviews on this site as clearly I have been a victim of their incompetence and today have had to take it to another mechanic to confirm what work this Mastermac/Macmaster actually did. I did ask for receipts for clutch etc and was told "you have an invoice from me and that's all that is required!" I am totally at my wits end after spending so much money, which I had to take a loan for. Angry and disappointed.
