Beware of Manager
Everything was great, except for the advice. My partner and I went there for out 3 year anniversary. We were happy to be there, the atmosphere was great. Carefully we elected not to pay an additional amount of approx R800 each (R1600) for a wine paring to pair with our 5 course meals. We notified the server that we did not want to get the wine pairing in addition to the 5 course meal because of the price. The manager arrived and he was advised about price sensitivity. We were advised to get a bottle of wine instead of the pairing (fyi wine starts at approx. R400.00) that we requested to be paired our food generally because we did not want to spend a further R1600.00 but wanted the closest experience. The server invited the manager to provide guidance, and he knew the instructions. I notified him that we did not want to pay for the paring based on the cost. He advised on a bottle (which was a great pairing), and when the bill came the bottle of wine cost R1700.00. We were basically ****** of an experience to pair food with the ideal wine because the manager failed to take instructions. My partner and I left there left feeling cheated. After a great evening to have a bitter taste in our mouths kind of ruined our anniversary.

Don’t use Pick n Pay ASAP!
Despite my previous hello Peter article and a primate message promising a resolution to my order to be delivered, it still has not.

Pick n Pay ASAP! Doesn’t deliver
I purchased goods from the Pick n Pay ASAP app on the 22nd September. The name implies as soon as possible. As I put my order in and confirmed it on the app they deducted money from my bank account. Directly after the order said canceled. I assumed that they would reimburse me fully. The original delivery time was 21:00 - 22:00 but it was canceled. I was asleep at the time I hear a loud banging on my door. One driver came to deliver 1/5th of my order. I logged a fault with the system. They have not resolved the issue since. They keep on saying an agent will be with me. I have to feed my dog, the dog food I got was budgeted for in the months supplies. It has not arrived. Currently my housemate is feeding my dog. It doesn’t matter what I am eating now but it is basically just bread. I’m tired of their game.
