Reporting of fraudulent Binary Trading. An amount of R 900 was paid to Tshiamo Nxobile Mantshogo (FNB account) on the 6th of November. Then on the 7th,8th an 9th of November a R500 was paid on each day to Simphiwe Mdladla (Capitec account).I was told that I would receive profit on the 9th which will be transferred to my account. On the 10th I was told that I should pay a commission fee of a R 1000 in order to receive the profit.I received an affidavit from a police station and I reported this to Capitec Bank.
I am a 2nd year student studying Transporta tion Management.I receive an external bursary which is affiliated with Fundi.Every other month I have to reload my bank account details on Fundi system which is frustrating. When I raised my concerns in a polite manner I was told that there are many other students so my concerns should not be regarded as more important. The arrogance It is said that Fundi eases the financial stress students carry but why was/should I be treated the way I was because if the money was paid on time why should I be loading my banking details every other month, after loading my banking details after a day or two on calling Fundi again than I must learn that due to the OTP code the funds couldn't be transferred, than it's a thru and fro situation, after all the drama......than only... funds are been transferred.... middle of the month. And Fundi doesn't call when there's a problem I have too, what about students that's not in a fortunate situation.
On the 25/08/21 I couldn't access my bank account,on going to the branch Campus Square Gauteng, all the consultant explained to me was my account was frozen due to a court order, surely court orders are for different kind of loans not paid. The branch manager didn't bother to come and show face or to call me for a proper explaination. The account was frozen on the 23/08/21 With no call , WhatsApp nothing just to prepare me for what has taken place, from Capitec. I mean my livelihood, I've logged a formal complaint to the Law Society, Treasury and some regulator. I have used my daughter's email address via her laptop because with my Gmail it was not possible to complain to the relevant departments. I mean if all this can happen to me what about the public out there that's ignorant about where and whom to complain too. The only time I received a call from Capitec was on the 27/09/21 between 4:30 and 5:00 by a gentleman, I couldn't get his name or why he phoned as my phone and hearing him was faulty,my thinking is it happened after Treasury instructed the Ombudsman to look into the matter. Because I've received a mail from the Ombudsman to ask me if I want to logg a formal complain. Which of cause I replied yes, I want to. Maybe he also couldn't hear me when I asked him to email whatever he wanted to say to me via my daughter's email address for a paper trail,he even recited it to me for confirmation,to date I have not received an email from him, I do have his land line number, just in case,as we all know calls are recorded. And the money I had in the account disappeared, only this months deposit is still in the account, but obviously I cannot withdraw the funds because my account is frozen..... strange that a frozen account can be used for deposits. And too....if you have to pay your debt what happened to affordability?? As we speak I'm still waiting on the guy that called me from Capitec.
On the 27/08/21 An email was sent to Old Mutual to amend my banking details,to customer care and the Financial Advisor I was concerned because Old Mutual did not acknowledge my email, however I thought and trust it will be done, this month I did not receive my my monthly payment of my retirement annuity,it can only mean my banking details weren't changed, and the monthly payment went to the old account, Old Mutual couldn't be bothered as it's money going out to the person paying over the years for her retirement, had it been money going to Old Mutual they were gonna jump high and low,it must come to me they just could care.....such a shame as it's part of my monthly income.
