Active since Oct 2021
I ordered supplements from the USA, shipped from Singapore, and it arrived in South Africa on the 27th April 2022. Until today, the 14th June 2022, I have yet to receive a response after sending them email upon email to enquire why it is stuck since 27th April. The support is just non-existent. I did get some support from the USA office which directs me to the Singapore office. To contact the local South African office or warehouse seems impossible. Will definitely not recommend them.
Hi I am trying to get a refund and/or tyres for the past 4 months. After numerous promises still nothing. Subsequently I have done the following: 1. I have opened a police case against Tyres.co.za and have a police case number. I have requested the investigating detective to also add the Barden Group of companies to the case 2. I also submitted a complaint at SARS for VAT not being paid over. I am going to add Barden Group to the complaint as well. 3. I have contacted the host company of the tyres.co.za website as a fraudulent merchandiser. To make the police case stronger, I need more complainants. Once we reach a certain number, the case will be handed over to a more centralised unit, under the Hawks, for further investigation. I also have an advocate now on board which will assist me, the police, and if later the Hawks. Please send me the following to tertiusvr@gmail.com 1. A summary of your dealings and experience with Tyres.co.za of non-delivery or non-refund 2. Your invoice which show the VAT amount. 3. Proof of payment. The police want the proof of payment as well as a bank statement that shows your account being debited. 4. Any communication you have, for example export all WhatsApp chats, emails, etc. I will hand over every case as above to the investigating detective and will keep you updated on progress and next steps from the Police.
After three months and numerous promises of tyres to be delivered or refund, still nothing. I have logged a police case for Barden Tyres (Pty) Ltd. I suggest if you have the same issue as me, to follow the same steps as I did. fraud at the Garsfontein Police station in Pretoria. My Case # CAS 417/10/2021. A Captain PR Moeng is the investigating officer. If lodging a case as well, mention my case number and the Captain's name to build a stronger case. Police station number is 012-369 6900. I have also notify Shopify who host the website about non-delivery and scamming/fraudulent activities. You can also inform them at: https://www.shopify.com/legal/report-aup-violation. My next step is to also contact FNB and report the account number. I have already logged a report with SARS on VAT violations and will now add the police case number to my reference number. I am also going to create a new case with SARS against Barden Tyres.
PLEASE avoid doing business with this person or company. I have the same complaint as all others here. Paid, promises on promises and you can forget about a refund! I reported him at SARS as he clearly lives with his hand in the till and does not pay over ANY VAT to SARS. Hopefully SARS will nail Mr Thomas Rundle. My next step is a police case at Garsfontein police station. Then off to Court for Small Claims. If no success, I will track him down and break an arm. I suggest all other to do the same - report him on SARS website, its very easy, forward him the reference number, and go and get a police case number. Hopefully SARS and the Police will see the scam and investigate.
