Cultural insensitivity _ catering requirements
Matric dance held on 15 Oct. Catering requirements indicated upfront however not provided for. It's a holy month of vegetarian fasting 17 Sept to 17 Oct (Purtasi) . There was no vegetarian starter and when staff were asked they said they didn't have anything. For mains people were told there was only a buffet and they could eat the side dishes provided. Part of the cost of the entrance/ticket would have been for food which was poorly and insensitive not catered for. Poor showing. I wouldn't recommend.

Cultural Insensitivity and poor catering
Matric Dance held on 14 Oct. Despite meal options being preselected as vegetarian as we are in our holy month of fast (abstaining from meat) the venue did not cater for Hindu guests. No veg starters were served and for mains guests were told by staff to have the side dishes which was butternut and spinach. How pathetic when half the cost is probably the meal. A huge disappointment - enough to spoil anyone’s evening. More cultural sensitivity required. I won’t recommend this venue.
