We had a very pleasant stay other than some housekeeping eccentricities. The games room staff is amazing and we enjoyed the facilities. They upped this review to 3 stars. Then came check out, where we were falsely accused of *****ing a pillowcase, and the resort held back R60 of our deposit to cover that, making sure to mention in the hearing of other guests that this pillowcase was missing. The pillow in question was at the top of a cupboard, and we hadn't even used it because the kids brought their own pillows from home. My son said he saw the pillow without a case when he was making up the sleeper couch on night 1, but didn't think to tell us. I didn't think there would be any need to check something as basic as a pillowcase in the exhaustive checklist, so I signed that all was in order on day 1. Obviously it wasn't, that's on me. But the receptionist's attitude was, "so we (the resort) must pay for it?" Actually, we the guests didn't take it, so why should we have to pay for it??? So reception and housekeeping staff, enjoy your ice creams with the money you stole from us. And then go to hell. Oh, and any future guests, bring your own toilet paper.
