I was skeptical about ordering over R200,000 of Solar equipment from a new unknown supplier. I did not order a Solar Kit but individual items to give me what I required. The order process was simple, the documentation and follow-up (all onine) excellent, and the order was fulfilled in Cape Town from both PE and Johannesburg three days later. A singe broken solar panel was reported via their on-line system and was rectified without issues, again within a week of providing the detail requested. I don't normally provide references but compared with other suppliers in this field I was both impressed, satisfied and will recommend wholeheartedly. To Solar Shop, congratulations on a job well done.
I never got as far as connecting to the service. The Rain On-line registration process is PATHETIC and may well reflect the Service Provider capability in general. The RICA process 1. Takes your details (worked) 2. Takes your money (worked) 3. Registers for RICA 2/3 worked and FAILED on takin LIVE photo There IS NO LIVE HELP DESK / CONTACT CENTER DETAIL on the web site. By all accounts the ONLINE RICA process ONLY works on certain Android o/s phones NOT ALL. So if you don't have a Samsung DONT TRY. My LG phone DID NOT WORK with their system. So they take your money and don't provide a service. They DO NOIT provide a SERVICE center number. They DO NOT provide any indication of COMPATIBLE devices for use with their processes. The RICA process failure and payment was made on 31 October 2021. The Order was CANCELLED via their live CONTACT CENTER. I will keep you posted how long it takes to get a REFUND. In short - a PATHETIC service and well worth avoiding.
