On Sunday we went to the very disappointing Life day Spa Rosebank for an “Eternally yours” voucher, for my gf bday. We get there rushed in to the change rooms, had the first treatments and felt relaxed. We sat waiting for our massage as they were late, ended at the scheduled time and headed home. Once we got home we realised i had accidentally left my garmin watch in the locker. I phoned the spa and they said they will look and get back to me. After waiting for hours for a response we go back to the spa to get the watch…this was where i was demanded by one of the staff to wait until closing for them to look for the watch and they will call before closing. Confused we head back home. We phone again before closing because nobody wanted to assist when we were there. They showed no interest in helping us. They insisted we wait. So we waited, in the wait we chatted to people who said they also had a terrible experience there (this is where we found out they left out things from our package). They never got back to us like they insisted. On Monday we phone to resolve the situation and are told there’s nothing they can do, we enquire to speak to a manager. After hearing nothing for hours we phone ,again, to speak to the manager who apologised but wouldn’t budge to help find the watch besides call the laundry to see if it was there (when we told them it was in the locker). We haven’t heard anything back from them, we were not helped by their staff or manager on the day. We were sent away when we tried to retrieve the watch. So disappointing to see such a beautiful industry act with no ethics, no professionalism, no concern about their clients. We were treated with such disconcern and won’t be going back especially after hearing all the complaints come out from others. Such a disappointment that such a beautiful birthday gift ended in such an appalling way.
