I am so mad while typing this. Menlyn volkswagen, you bunch of thieves!! Our gholf 5 gti dsg stood there for 2 months, about a year ago, do to finances we didnt have R65k to repair the car, so it stood there untill we could take it home. We decided to take the car to the mechanic just to hear that the following happened: 1. The backing plate was FORCEFULLY SWITCHED with a gholf 6's one, they took, YES TOOK, the orginal part and switched it 2. The gearbox oil was removed 3. The dumpvalve was REPLACED with a broken one Please note that the above parts was not quoted for nor was it the issue.
