Budget insurance increased my premium without consulting me as a client, next thing when I as a client decide to reach out to them they claim to have sent an email but when I request for the email to be forwarded they are sending me a new email instead and then the consultant assisting me keeps referring to their company as Auto and General
April this year I bought a Huawei P50 pocket and shortly after that it started giving me problems (the battery does not last) I then booked it in for repairs in the Huawei store in Menlyn mall but was called to come collect it same day because it's a premium phone and they aren't allowed to keep it over night however also said that they ran tests and there's nothing wrong with the battery but there were features on that drain the battery but are now off. I was told to monitor the phone and close Apps as I use them. Around that time I was communicating with a lady named Boitumelo from the H/O(bless her soul cause she is the only help I have) I told her the problem is still persisting and she advised that I rebook the phone, 16 June 2022 I went back to that store to rebook the phone and the consultant at hand noticed my phone and I did mention that it was with them not long ago, she then brought a book and requested me to fill in my details also said they are ordering the battery, the month ended with no communication and I contacted Boitumelo again, she then asked the Menlyn store manager "Kenley" to contact me, to our surprise it never happened until of course I made contact with Boitumelo yet again that's when Kenley called and mentioned that the part I ordered is hard to get and they have been waiting to receive it but as a person who works with customers myself I then asked if it is not in our business rules to contact the client and keep them in the loop, he took the blame for that and further apologized. I waited while calling both the store, Kenley and Boitumelo down to August the 15th when Kenley said they are expecting stock that week and will contact me, indeed he did on the 18th; I however could not go as I was not well, next day I contacted Boitumelo to notify her of my concern of not being able to take in the phone due to my sickness and worried it might be passed on to the next client putting in mind how long I waited, Boitumelo then organised RAM to pickup my phone from my place to the store. To my knowledge it arrived to them the next Monday as I received a call from the store and initially, the agreement was that battery replacement does not take long and If I do bring it in I will get it same day but that was not the case, Wednesday I called Kenley to find out how far they are and he said they should be done shortly as they were just running a few tests but also assured me that I will get it that day also asked if I'm gonna collect or if they should RAM it back, I then told him that I will send someone to collect it since I was held up at work and leaving to Northwest the next day but to my surprise when my partner got there to collect the phone he was told they are not done with the phone and forgot to call me. After some time of going back and forth we agreed that he will get it done first thing in the morning and call me latest 9:30 since I told him I was leaving at around 11 but I still did not receive any call from them and had to make a phone call just after 10 and Kenley said he had meetings and tasked Dineo to call me yet again I was surprised that he never bothered to follow up on his promises, he passed on the phone to Dineo who tried apologizing and funny enough while on the phone with Dineo Kenley only then calls and texts my partner who was next to me to tell him that the phone is ready for collection. I must say I am beyond angry at the service received from that store
Their service is fast and efficient, the way of communication with them is just amazing and I must say their scent of products last
