Hi I had a cellphone contract with vodacom for past 3 years and then last year November 2025 it ended then I get messages I am in legal department due to the same contract then I had to pay the legal department after several calls but still no joy. Vodacom still debits my bank account like 3 times a month I dont know what to do all the consultants can't help me telephonically or in writing. Last year November I never renewed no contract or did I sign any documents for new contract of I was put in the legal department by Vodacom how can I sign a new contract please help I am experiencing emotional distress regarding this matter. Please they must stop debiting my account its ******* as Vvm attorneys is also taking money from me. And I never signed or authorized a new contract from Nov. 2025 to 2027 I need proof and signatures because I never took a new contract I had bad service with my old one which ended in 2025. They said I did a topup contract in Nov 2025 which I never did because they put me in legal department and I dont even know what I am paying for as my contract is ended with them. Please I need closure this company is putting me in financial distress and no one helps me sort the matter. Thank you
I had the worst experience with this company called Business Entry Directories. They give advertising a bad name. I need some assistance please. I work a a GP. practice on the 13 August 2024 we got a call from telkom so the agent said (Thembeka) but later found out actually she was calling from a company called Teleacc2024. The conversation was totally misleading by the agent and then for the past 5days we have been receiving emails and calls from Sharan at that company saying my boss has to pay R12 000 for a product (online adverti*****t) which we didnt even proof read or approve. I am a P.A. at this establishment and I can clearly say we are being **********. I asked for the recorded call but this lady is rude and unhelpful. She has been sending threatening emails, to hand my boss over to her legal department. All I know we signed the document to say we changing to fibre on our usual telkom line. We didnt receive any information on our add but being told we signed documents on 13th August so we have to pay for this on online adverti*****t. We didnt want an online adverti*****t. The agent Thembeka deceived us on that call she made and this Sharan lady expects us to pay for something which is totally ******* according to my opinion. This is not professionalism but a **** I believe and I ask everyone out there to please beware of this. Can I please get some help regarding this matter from the Advertising industry.
Hi everyone, Firstly I want to thank Hellopeter for allowing our voices to be heard on paper. As I write this review I am very sad. I am sure by sharing my story many people wont be deceived in the future and also wont be robbed from their hard earned money they invest in old mutual as my mum was. We have had the worst experience with this company and with no compassion was told, your mum signed on all documents so its official nothing can be done. My 65yrs old mum at that point broke down and cried for a week. Let me begin, my mum took a policy with old mutual 1st December 1999 (take note of commencement date). as usual every year my mum was called in by post to come in and update her details on her policy and my mum being the worried person she is, she always paid for a taxi and went to update her details even if she was unwell or fine. I always accompanied her but on this one ocassion I now regret I couldnt accompany her, the policy was changed so the consultant told her she is only updating her details and she signed as she always did but not reading the document details(as she knew it was updating records) and during this time the policy was terminated and a new one activated. Few years later I went with mum to update her records again and due to covid my mum wanted to lower her premium so thats when the consultant brought it to her attention her policy from 1999 had been terminated and she was paying for a new policy which was only 2 yrs old. On hearing this my mum and I was shocked. My mum was shattered she said I want my old policy she was very upset. My mum, a single parent made sure that policy was paid and never worried if she didnt have food to eat as long as her policy was paid so she could have a better life for her 3 daughters when she was not around. Over that period my mum struggled my mum even took a loan from that policy but never cancelled, old mutual made her pay every cent back with interest but they robbed all her money because my mum is uneducated and old. I even asked her mum did you cancel the greenlight policy you took from 1999. She said no all the consultant told her was he got her updated details and she signed alot of forms and she can leave. She had a headache so she just signed and left. In 1999 my mum had alot of options, use Sanlam or save but my mum took advice from a friend and she was told Old Mutual is a good company. But in 2021 all our money for so many years lapsed(but we were cheated). We dont have no policies now, and I feel so sad for my mum she now tells everyone please read anything you sign because old mutual robbed her. But I guess I dont know for what reason this happened maybe some corrupt consultant or misunderstanding but if Old Mutual is a good company and stands by its promises I feel my mum needs compensation for all the money she paid in premiums for 22yrs which was going to mature at her old age of 70yrs on her initial policy. She is struggling financially and if she saved that money she would have had a better retirement. But the only comfort she got from Old Mutual she was told she signed and a small amount of R3000 was paid into her account which my mum said she tought it was a gift from Old Mutual on well paid premiums to them. But they claim it was a payout from that policy from 1999. I am so upset as I write this review, my mum made sure her debit order was always paid from Absa every month. And to be robbed for what she wanted so bad for her 3 daughters. Please this is a very hard lesson but please everyone reading this always read the fine print in any document. I hope Old Mutual can compensate or give my mum some closure. She is very sad and disappointed and at her age its tough to apply for a new policy she trusted them but they let her down. And affordabilty is also tough due to covid times and I also hope Hellopeter can help my mum get what she deserves not a big zero after all her years and money invested. God bless.
Hello everyone I have tears in my heart right now. I hope Hellopeter can help me sooth this pain. I was so excited to take a loan to help me with my personal needs. I went through a divorce thus it was so hard to get help anywhere i was left with nothing except with my clothes I had. Capitec says they are there to help people they have free monthly fees blah blah blah. But how do they balance being unfair to us on the lower earning bracket for overcharging us on loans. They promise and dont deliver. Here is my story I took a loan with them in October 2019, an amount which was not even enough, the contact stated 24 mths payment period of R20 000. My instalment was R2018.00 at that point. I was told I can review the loan account in 6 months and drop instalment to pay back. I did that but no one could help me. Anyway long story short, covid came and I had to work 6 months with half my salary. I phoned them and begged I meaned begged to drop my instalment they refused only offering me a payment break which I took as I was desperate. Now a loan which was supposed to be paid up this year October 2021, is sitting at R27216.98. And they have added 2 yrs more to my payment plan but initially they refused to give me a comfortable payback plan. I am not the only more people have experienced this when I explain my side of the story. Please help and give me a clear answer and can I get a lower premium I am really struggling with this now. As is they are getting 48 mths. when something was going to be 24mths. I am in emotional distress please help. God bless you.
