Sherwood Vetcare
Do not ever use Sherwood Vet ironically they have total disregard for pets brought in for procedures or treatment , my daughter took her cat in for treatment and was overdosed with medication, the cat was throwing up ans dis orientated ,she then took it to Ashburn Vet who were amasing and saved her cat from certain death by putting it on drips costing her R8000 in medical bills which was fine because her Pumpkin was going to recover, unfortunately we weren’t so fortunate as we had taken our baby Lunar a Himalayan Blue Eyed Persian to the same Sherwood Vet after being told by my daughter not to nevertheless we did take Lunar to Sherwood Vet for being spayed she was in perfect health playing with us in the morning prior to taking her to the Vet no issues at all eating, playing normally only to get a call 2 hrs after dropping her off that she had passed away, we were devasted , I called the vet immediately and Dr SD Singh had the damn audacity to tell me that because she was a rescue there are certain blood tests and tests that cannot be done as in the case of a NORMAL walk in patient wanting the similar procedure will warrant the blood tests,but because of the cost factor as Lunar was a rescue, and this being told to me after he killed our Lunar with the anaesthetic even before attempting the procedure,my question to you WHY SHOULD THERE BE DESCRIMINATION IN TREATMENT FOR A RESCUE AND ANY OTHER PETS?THE OATH TAKEN BY DOCTORS /VETS ‘TO SERVE AND PROTECT’my heart cries out for our Baby Lunar( WE LOVE LOVE AND ALWAYS WILL), the cherry on the top , I reported the incident to South African Vets Association, they replied by telling me that they cannot take any action against Dr Singh, they can only try and investigate and see what went wrong,more often than not they will fabricate some excuse to protect their members , so clearly what is the point in even pursuing this, corruption is rife everywhere,I am curious to know as to why SAVA even exists?I will be approaching SAVC ( South African Vets Council) to see if I can get any assistance. Momentum life dreaded disease cover SCAM
I recently had undergone a multiple bypass , which warranted a 100% payout which Momentum acknowledged but only paid out a portion , giving me some lame excuse of how the payout percentage works , which by the way is not mentioned in any of the policy documents, and when I asked to show proof of the payout formula in my policy , upto now have not contacted me, its now been 3 months since the bypass, these corporates are thieves with no accountability ,please be careful and stay clear
