The Daily Ferndale A welcoming atmosphere where your soul takes a breath as your senses are greeted to the smell of brewing coffee. The selection on the menu isn't as varied as other establishments but that's part of the charm. A few favorites to those who regularly visit and a menu that doesn't intimidate newcomers. The meals are simple but flavourful, no thrills comfort food done well. Keeping it simple, makes things easier to perfect. The coffee is brewed to perfection, very few establishments have served me a mug where sugar would be a superfluous addition to the beverage, and I am happy to say sugar is never required. I come here, to unwind and write, good food and a welcoming atmosphere always makes me return, hungry for more.
Dominique's in Cresta Homely atmosphere and a menu which spoils one for choice. From simple coffee and and cake to pasta, fish and steak they almost have it all. The waiters are friendly, their service on top neither hovering or absent. The coffee i purchased shot me back a decade to happier times, one of the very few times a coffee made me emotional. The steak is tender, flavourful and the price excellent. I would definitely return, hungry for more. My compliments to the staff, and manager.
Words can not express. Vodacom's incompetence border on the imbecilic. to the mainstream consumer, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH VODACOM. December last year I called customer care to cancel my contracts with Vodacom and explicitly told the operator that I was moving my business to MTN for various reasons. A few months in I am still getting debit orders deducted from my account. I called customer care again, since you can't inquire on your account in store anymore and do business like a human being face to face, and I was left on hold for half an hour. I thus decided, since I gave explicitly asked to CANCEL all contracts and close all accounts, to cancel the debit order with my bank. Then the robotic calls commenced telling me I am owning Vodacom. In the third quarter of 2021 I made a call to customer care again to solve the problem and the imbecile on the other end drove me to profanity, problem still not solved. In November 2021 I called again, now the forth time and explained to the lady the whole situation. She managed to rectify the back charges, but I am still getting charged! Listen Vodacom, I do not want to be affiliated with you anymore! I want this issue rectified ASAP. I refuse to pay another cent. I refuse to do business with your farce of a company any longer. I have contacted you enough, I demand someone with more than three neurons in their melons to contact me and solve this problem permanently!
